So I am the off spring of someone who actually survived the cambodian killing fields. My grandma used to tell me stories about her time she spent in Cambodia trying to escape to the U.S. embassy. She and her three kids moved here in the early 1980’s and we have been here ever since. Thank you so much for putting that on the list

The ghost is reserved a front row seat for every performance. Guests have reported a hand mysteriously grabbing hem during the show, and issues such as lighting or technical problems were thought to be done by the captain

My Dad was part of the 4th Tank Battalion with the Marine Corps at Ft. Knox in the 90's, so I grew up in the area and the rumor was that there hadn't been anything valuable as far as Gold, or Diamonds at Ft. Knox for decades but that could just be the Gov't trying to sway people from trying to break in. They don't even like people driving past and slowing down to take pictures of the place. I still live in Kentucky, just about 2 hours East of Fort Knox.

There's a cemetery near where I went to high school that has a tombstone wrapped up in layers of...almost like chain link metal fencing, so you can't touch it. It's said that the person was a witch. Supposedly if you do touch it you will die. It's in Haverhill, Massachusetts. That's not too far from Salem so who knows....it could be true.

The scariest place other than Area 51 that I've known is the previous South Fork Dam in Johnstown Pennsylvania where the 1889 Johnstown flood happened. It's interesting but scary just imagining how those innocent people die because of a dam neglect. It's still eerie looking down from a height.

@@jacoblamberson2709 It’s just a very deep trench, and the massive air bubbles is what messes with planes’ radars and stuff causing them to get lost, lose communication, or possibly even crash. But on a cruise ship it’s much different, and you just float over it like every other part of the ocean. It’s just very dark blue in contrast to the surrounding water because it’s so deep. I learned all about it on a tour while I was on an excursion in Bermuda. We also learned that the sea turtles surrounding Bermuda aren’t native because the native ones were all killed for food; which is really sad. But yeah, its not as cool as you would think it would be 😂

Because of this, the island is frequently featured on paranormal shows. The mental hospital closed in 1968, and the island has been vacant since. Visits to the island are prohibited, but various books and articles discuss visits by a writer and/or photographer. One of the latter described a place of "peace and serenity".
