Its infinite, in all directions. There is no end or beginning for the universe. The big bamg? Yup, it happened but only created our "visible " universe. There are big bangs all throughout the universe creating another big group of stars and worlds. It all moves like the molecules in water giving the effect everything is moving apart. Oh, the sciencific explanation for Deja Vu is what I've experience for it's close cousin Jamias Vu, (having epilepsy, I get both Jamias Vu and Deja Vu - but it's really annoying remembering that you literally like Spanish and now can't pick up what the meaning of what someone else is saying is). Deja Vu has sometimes been a I've read something close enough to an event that happened that I figure out the outcome ahead of time - the start of Covid-19 before it got to the USA reminded me a lot of "The Hot Zone". Wouldn't have invested in Moderna otherwise and did make a profit. It would be interesting if in this universe I was right, but I was slightly different right on that call in a different universe too.
