The only thing is either you won't be able to finish school or go to school if you don't have financial resources. But some get scholarships or work young while studying to pay off tuition fees until they graduate. Quite the hassle but at least you're free of school debt if and once you graduate. Nothing impossible. You're only real challenge and thing you put effort is to get a decent and stable job, own a property and pay bills. If we survive the next billion years, that's how much longer we have. But I doubt it. We have only about 200 years left. My reasoning is how fast technology is progressing. Cars and flight were very primitive in 1924. Now in 2024, we have AI, hydrogen bombs, biological pathogens locked up in labs, biotech, plus more and it's exponential.

"We'd have to set up shop in other galaxies within the Milky Way." (2.10) Are you sure about that statement? Would you like to revisit it and ..... I don't know .... tweak it in some way? Here, let me do it for you. "We'd have to set up shop in other planetary systems within the Milky Way." I know this was an oversight because as I type this, you're talking about the merger of our galaxy and the Andromeda galaxy.
