Wow! So impressive how you fixed your sweater. Never in a million years could I do that, And you have the photos!

Can’t believe you mentioned Wool-Tyme! That’s my local yarn shop, and off there tomorrow morning for knitting “finishing” class tomorrow They have the best clearance section I’ve ever seen! 😊 Love the look of Clay Sweater! Can’t wait to see how it turns out. Thank for all the detail on Twisted Affair, am going to make a couple for Christmas gifts. As a crocheter Linda Skuja patterns are gorgeous and well written. Love her 😍 Taira (Ottawa, Canada)

Another great podcast. You have great ideas. It’s hard to pick a favorite. Praying your husband has a speedy recovery. See you next time.

I'm working on my first Twisted Affair as I watch this evening. Yes. my row gauge is off, and I wish I'd thought to do the 8-row cable instead of 10. Thanks for that idea. This one is a gift; there will be more. I have made a sweater out of Luft and as are all the Woolfolk bases, it is excellent. I may order two skeins right now and let the next Twisted Affair jump ahead in the queue. Loving a quickly finished project. All the best to your husband! x x x

Another lovely video. Love, love your test knit. The colours are gorgeous. All the best for hubby’s operation and hope all is well. Meant to mention your bag making video with daughter. She is cheeky and fun. Loved the design of the bags - quite tempted to indulge. Cheers.

I keep meaning to mention that Drops Air is a good sub for Woolfolk Luft. It is a bit more robust than the Katia Concept option.

Your Snowbloom is beautiful! I love the colours. I don’t know why I can’t get myself back into colourwork, after doing nothing else for years I guess I’ll have to wait until the urge returns. Best of luck to your husband. Mine had both knees done one at a time and is very happy to be pain free. Hope you have lots of ice ready.

Just to let you know that Linda Skuja’s patterns are extremely well written and easily to follow. She often has supporting videos for newer stitches. I’m an adventurous beginner and have been able to do several of her patterns from her book. My only issue has been in meeting the gage. Good luck!

Love your Twigs & Willows cardi, had to pause and run to Ravelry. I fell in love with all of Alana Dakos's designs, my favourites list grew dramatically. My favourite 'squishy' wool is the Peppin range by Fiddlesticks, especially Peppin 4, which is good wool to use for kids, doesn't have the itch & scratch factor & I haven't had any experience of it pilling either.

Blessings for your hubby and please look after yourself as you care for him. Your test knit is lovely. Could you please recommend a Jennifer Steingast colour work pattern for a beginner in colour work? Something with short floats would be great. Many thanks for all the time you put into your podcast 👩🌾🐑🐮

I hope the surgery went well and your husband is feeling ok! I also immediately downloaded Joji's beanie pattern when it came out and will cast on this weekend. I thought this would go perfectly with my Dagmar jacket that will be finished in a week or so 🤞

Hope your hubby's operation goes well. You'll be missed if you don't get online next week, but family has to come first. I love that version of the Avena, and am now wondering if I can use Karisma to dupe Spincycle in some way, as it is way out of my budget. Thanks x

Lovely podcast as usual. I remembered to pray for your husband and hope all went well. In our area, they will only do one knee at a time. So happy your husband was able to get them both done at the same time. I printed off the Twisted Knit hat pattern. I have 6 grandsons, so I am excited to make these for them as they all love outdoor snow sports. ❤

Is that cable storage in your wall to the right behind you? Did you make it or purchase? I’ve been looking for something similar.
@missjenny1953Күн бұрын
Yes, I’d like to take a closer look at that too

It is not the neatest but it is how i store my cables. I made it a while ago. I wish there was a ravelry for sewing as I cant remember if i used a pattern. I probably googled something and found a tutorial.... I'll show it off next podcast. :)
