Hollow pipes should be used for swingarm rather not solid pipes. Reason is because due high stress action and weight (Motorcycle + Rider is heavy as you can see, pillion rider). There is only chance of bending in Hollow pipe whereas solid pipes or block just cracks off or breaks completely. It's a just a pure waste of time and money for the owner of the bike twice. First person screwed his original stock swingarm and second person upgraded for a swingarm which has no life.

Actually every mechanic does experiments at the cost of the customer. They are not fully skilled. Rummy has some good ideas, but he is also not a complete mechanic.

There is a reason for hollow pipe swing arm by royal Enfield... They could have used solid swing arm but It would increase the weight.. but at the same tym a hollow swing arm offer better strength to weigh ratio.. and would be cost effective.. I guess solid swing arm won't break that easily because it's not brittle in nature from apperearnce I can say that it's some grade of ms.. so It would bend considerably before breaking.. Though the mechanic may not be aware of the same but only thing that can break I guess here is weld joints if defective

The hollow one have better strength to weight ratio that doesn't means that solid ones are weak, as the solid swing arm is definitely heavy, overall strength might be same, although complicated calculations will be there to calculate

Yaar hieght down karne ke liye low profile seat aati hai , aur thick rear tyre max 15 inch rim ,140mm and for RE 500 you could go upto 150mm ,and for 15 inch rim broad tyre you need to buy an aftermarket Swing Arm ,new longer Axle ,Bush ,Spacer or Hub(if required) ,custom rear Sprocket, extend chain length, angle of the shockers , this much of stuff and a skilled mechanic ,who does modification and have sense like front and rear tyres should be in a straight line, Chain should not touch tyre etc. thts it
