Love you guys. Watch the last season of X-men the first two episodes concerning the Phalanx featured Forge a friend of beast and Charles. He is the guy who storm is talking to. That SAME episode also featured Mr. Sinister. It makes me wonder if this is the point he did the switch.

if curious the voice of older jubilee is the original voice actress back then. the creators did went to her and ask if she wanted to voice jubilee again but said no. mainly on she have her own businesses plus its best if someone that is asian american voices jubilee which the creators are fine with. but did offer her a cameo if she wanted and she did accept that for this episode.

Life Death which is about Ororo's (Storm) journey through deep depression and thoughts of ending her own life which Forge helped her through and it was a journey that lasted for three years in the comic so the development of emotions felt like they were happening very fast that forge explanation of their feelings as well as those that happen to Ororo in are very compressed.

Roberto is potentially very powerful since he can absorb, channel, and even generate solar energy. He’s pretty much an X-Men Kryptonian since his whole power-set deals with solar energy like Kryptonians do but on a lesser scale. The only thing holding him back from using his powers is his mentality. Also I like the sequence that they did with Julibee’s older self. She pretty much created two firework destructo discs, just goes to show you how powerful these two can be if they reach their full potential.

Strongly agree. A big aspect of it reminds me of gojos speech to megumi in jjk. Their problem isnt their abilities/techniques, its their own interpretation of their abilities. They have to expand their mind and broaden the idea of "whats possible" with their abilities. Partially due to lack of experience, they cant even conceive ideas like the firework destructo discs yet lol. The better your imagination = the better your application of your technique basically, because theres more ideas you would be willing to try

Forge has the mutant ability to construct anything out of scraps and tech. He’s pretty much a mutant MacGyver. He can invent pretty much anything if he has the right compounds and functions since his power is pretty much intuitive aptitude. He’s kind of like Tony Stark in the sense that he’s a master of mechanics. If he had the same resources that the anti-mutant thugs from the first episode did, then it’s not far fetched to say that he could create his own armored ‘’Iron Man’’ suit out of the sentinel’s mechanic parts. It depends on who’s writing his character, since his role overlaps with Tony Stark(funny how he looks like him too). Like Storm, he’s also pretty powerful and underutilized. A genius like him could be very valuable to the X-Men, but since the X-Men already have Beast(another genius), he’s normally apart of the X-Factor, and three of those members consist of Polaris(Magneto’s daughter), Quicksilver, and Havok(Cyclops’s brother) who were all shown as in the theme song and later on in the second half of the episode.

There are a slew of references throughout the series from Marvel vs Capcom, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, etc. This first half of this episode was an entire reference in itself. Do your research and stop talking out of your ass. The staff are all on social media talking about it and what inspired certain storyboads. And if you were cultured you'd know right away. The artists, animators, and storyboarders EXPLICITLY made it clear on Twitter that X-Men '97 has multiple references to videogames and anime including X-Men vs Street Fighter, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, etc. Most of them are in their 30's and grew up watching anime as X-Men fans and have implemented their passion into their work. The old series from 1992 didn't have all this style and flare because the anime influence overseas in the west didn't start yet. Educate yourself before you call someone a "weeb." The bible actually has 3 enemies. Lucifer, the angel who fell, Satan, the lord of demons, and The Adversary, which is the Anti-God. They're not the same beings, and Christians are usually shocked when they learn and google "Is lucifer satan?". This villain is based on one of the enemies of the bible, The Adversary is an ancient primordial evil. (For reference in the Bible the Adversary is the one that says Job only worships God because he has so much, and the one that tries to tempt Jesus in the desert).

You are right about the Life/Death episode. It is a comic masterpiece and a must read story for Storm fans. This felt rushed and left out the time frame and the true pain Storm was suffering at that time. You also got more of what happened with Forge and the loss of his limbs. If you have the chance ,read the story. It iis a million times better
