My favorite part of the Jubilee episode was the message at the end. It felt like the writers were speaking to any of us in our "middle age" lol. It's wonderful to relive these episodes again and embrace the nostalgia of the cartoons and video games we know inside and out, but moving on is part of life. This show is really fun and entertaining, but pretty deep, lol.

@@mattchu_chow9087 I can't find the article where it said she requested that. In any case, I always felt like the actor's identity shouldn't matter unless it matters for the film/show/character. For example, since racism was a part of Sunspot's storyline, casting a black actor for him would've been preferable--though since they seem to have removed this story for him in the show, my logic is debateable.

I’m Enjoying the whole Show. And the Cliffhanger…is Crazy. Like, Daytime Shows. Week to week, like did back in the Day is Good. It’s bringing the Old school and New school together. Her reasoning was she wanted to give someone else a chance to portray jubilee and with Jubilee being Asian/American she was hoping they'd go that route. To think that earlier, Storm claimed that she sometimes wondered what would it be like to be human and now that she is, not forever hopefully, Ororo realizes that being regular is overrated and depressing; knowing that she is capable of so many things that we can only imagine and never thought about the internal struggle she would have until now. This is what influence does to us. Being in a world so divided by fear and hate, it makes them feel ashamed of what they are and who they are as a individual blessed with extraordinary abilities. Personally, I often wondered what life could be if some of us had powers beyond that of mortal men and although we shouldn’t feel superior than others, we must acknowledged that we more and we can never be like everyone else. We could either let that ruin us or deal with it. I’d rather do the latter because that’s all what anyone can do. Adapt or die.
