I’m 22 years old and the memory of my mom dropping me off to my dad and didn’t come back haunts me. My nieces Mum walked out on her when she was 3 weeks old and my brother isn't the best Dad so my parents adopted my niece, I was 15 and was basically raising that little girl as my own because my parents became unwell and she thought I was her Mum for the longest even when I told her I was Auntie, her incubation chamber (can't be called a Mother) blamed everyone else for her leaving, and to this day still takes no responsibility for walking out in my niece and only coming back when it suited her, though she would always leave after a few days maybe weeks! My niece is now almost 20 and still sees me as her Mum and I'm so proud of the beautiful young woman she's become but these waste of space "Mothers" need to take responsibility for their children or not have them period! I told my daughter truthfully your dads in the Army and he's serving his country so he not here. As she got older she went to visit him about 13-14. Her dad is manipulative pos. He gaslights like crazy. Now she's met him a couple times by this point but she needed to see him in full light. She was tired stay 6 weeks and then i was to pick her up. We r 18 hrs away from each other. She made it a little over a week. She called me and said ok I'm done come get me so I did. She told what went on once we were about 7-8 hrs away. She then turned to me and said he's crap and always tried to make everything my fault. I told her i know but you had to learn that first yourself. I could tell you but then I'm another trash talking parent putting the other one down. So we talked honestly all the way home. Asked if he really sent gifts, i said no i did that bc you were asking if he cared. You deserve to be loved and I wanted you to feel that. Just went over everything. Now your child's dad bailed before birth. Keep records of showing no contact with either of you, it shows abandonment. Do go for child support bc he is responsible for your child's life. Show messages of how he asks after. I'm telling you he will likely show up when the child is older. Men are usually not there in the early years but after a time they (sometimes) come back bc the kids out of diapers and all that. You've done all the hard work. Some do grow up and truly want to see there kids. Just keep records of not being there bc there are,some who show up and want their kids back or 50/50 custody. Been there. Please know I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just telling you what could happen

As a mother who DEALS with a toxic man, WHO WE BOTH ARE IN SEPARATE RELATIONSHIPS, i completely understand the mother . It’s mentally draining to try and try to do the best for your child/children and the father is narcissist . My BD took me to court after having our son for only one month because he saw i was in a new relationship when i moved back in town (he wanted to spend more time with our son, i didn’t just leave) .. but man it was two years of torture, abuse and lies . Just for him and i get joint custody and IM STILL THE ONE TAKING CARE OF OUR SON WITH HIS MOMS HELP . Like man, i wanted to run away so bad 🤦🏽‍♀️

I can't imagine abandoning my children in any circumstance. I don't think this is that circumstance I think he was hurt and things happened and she was hurt and things happened. It's a very toxic relationship which is why I think they should not be together.
