You can see PYOTR's VA is not so happy about his performance. He was so nervous his hands were shaking. I bet he never performed live. But he did a good job anyway, like all of them. Tuesday is still my favorite

Let’s be honest. Most of them don’t really sound like the studio version. Alisa was way too pitchy, Nai Bri was shaky, Lauren was pushing way too hard, and JR could barely sing. The only one who sounds good and clear is Celeina.

This is obviously more than a gig, it's been a passion project for them from the start. Try to catch the 3-ep making-of you can find here on KZbin. I found it very strange in this track how still the audience was, after so many enthusiastic reactions / glow sticks / crowd waves to other songs during the performance. Not sure how to interpret it, were they disappointed or so entirely captivated?

So I see a lot of flak about the performance here. IMHOP Live performances rarely compare to studio recordings. What you get with live shows is an unedited performance. It's something you can't prop up with electronic polishing. It's a raw yet pure performance. Anyone can sound awesome with today's editing tech. What happens in this instance showcases pure talent in every sense of the word. You can cover up a lot of flaws in post production and editing but what you get in a live performance is a direct manifestation of the talent. I have had 3 live bands play at one of my parties and every single one of them shined by their own merits. One was a industrial punk band, another a Pink Floyd cover band and the other was a hard core metal band. So many people love music. I know It moves me. And THIS - Moves me. Art is subjective and all of us are entitled to our opinion.

So cool! There was some keys that were out of pitch (ok, a lot) but it was still so cool to see them so passionate. I can tell they worked hard, and as a group together, they sounded killer. Also, crystal whatever her real name is my favorite voice. So pretty.

They all sing great honestly, its terrifying singing live. Carole and Tuesday had a open casting call worldwide for singers to submit themselves. Many of these people are professional but more at a sing in a comfy studio or work from home artist

It takes guts to put yourself out there in this capacity. The first time I auditioned for a role in front of the audience I practiced the song for weeks. I got up on stage for the audition and totally choked. Still, I did it. It took me a year but I finally got up on that same stage and sang my f'n heart out. Now, I can give a speech in front of 10000 + and do it well. I was a total wall flower in school. That one time I pushed myself past what I thought was my limit opened up a whole new avenue of opportunity.

not some ppl saying this was eh 😭 ya it has some flaws but thats how it is sometimes singing live, and overall they still did the rest of their performances beautifully. Pyotr in particular impresses me considering that one of his line were probably out of his range but he executed it well!! and honestly with all of them coming out of the recordings and singing live with this quality just proves me how talented they are. i watched carole & tuesday during covid but the recent developments in AI makes me think back again about the whole AI music in it, the show definitely was onto that even then! and this performance shows us that none of that can deny the magic of music made by people, and sung by people.

this isn't all of the actual musical vas, is it? i mean, i'm fairly sure it's most of them, lovely afro and grey dress woman sounded just like carole, same for strait brown hair as tuesday, blond braids as crystal, and guy as pyotr. at first i wasn't sure black/white dress was angela, but then she sang angela's final solo line and i was almost positive it was her when i heard that husky sia style voice, but the other roles sounded off, and not just recorded vs live off. i'm guessing the present singers were filling in for the ones that couldn't make it or something? don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful performance, i just noticed the singers sounded different.

Yes, not all the singers were able to make it to the this live event so, the ones who did make it sang their parts for them. The singers for Flora, Desmond, GGK, and Lonesome Clarence were not present for this concert.
