A plea deal, means the State doesn't have to pay for a long drawn out trial, almost ZERO chance of an appeal, and the victims family gets justice. Sometimes it's best. But not all cases qualify. Most violent crimes, the victims family is the guide for a plea deal. They have to agree, or no deal.

In the Ken and Barbie killers in Canada Paul Bernardo and Karla Holmolka were horrendous rapist/murderers. The Courts/Prosecuters gave Karla Holmolka a sweet deal to take down her hubby/coconspirator. She would help him kidnap a couple teens they raped, tortured and murdered. Karla even helped her husband Paul do this to her own sister as well. She got a light sentence claiming her hubby made her do it. Her lawyer held a tape that could incriminate her involvement until after they got her a deal. She got out early. She evrn gad her records wiped and was volunteering at her childrens school. Children she had with a twisted person that would marry her. Paul Benardo was able to get a transfer to medium security prison. Other rapist and murders get transfered to medium securtity or womans prisons if they claim they are transgender. In Canada there is no real Justice. No real consequences forvthe worst criminals in Canadian society. Karlas mother still stood by her daighter in court after what she did to her sister. What kind of parent can do that.

They just gave him a heads up and spooked him into running making their job more difficult. At the very least, why didn’t they keep him under surveillance after he was released following the interview. His explanation for all that blood was he cut himself installing drywall? @@TheAverageSavage1021I'm assuming they are talking about their adult kids and in that case I think it's ok, and pretty normal, to tell your adult kids that you don't want to know everything especially when it comes to their sex life or crimes they commit, and other things along those lines. I also think it's a perfectly normal thing to tell your kids at any age, especially if they ask, that you will not help them commit or get away with crimes. I think "I dont want to know about that" or "i dont want to have to snitch on you" is a way of saying that. If the kids are younger then I think saying that without them asking might be misunderstood and could result in them keeping important things to themselves but I don't think she's telling her 7 year old that every night before bed 😂 I don't know this woman but I know parents who say that to their kids and they have good and honest relationships with them and no one has been convinced or suspected of murder (or anything else past minor drug charges for possession of a personal use amount of weed) so I think it's all ok
