South of Chicago, a little boy is missing after fishing at a lake. Investigators struggle to find any sign of the boy but hold out hope that he remains alive somewhere. Detectives search the lake and investigate potential abductors. In Philadelphia, an officer finds a suspiciously abandoned car in the middle of the road. At the scene, it looks like a murder occurred but where did the killer go.
The New Detectives is a documentary true crime show that features reenactments of events surrounding a murder and follows police departments as they solve cases using forensic science.

As far as I'm concerned anyone who grants a convicted murderer parole is just as bad as the murderer themselves if not worse.

because parole officers (in fact, the entire justice system) are not held accountable, whoever released him should receive the same judgment as the suspect, in this case be sentenced to life without parole for his poor judgment, this should send a strong message to all other parole officers that if they are not willing to bet their lives if there is a repeated offense, they should not release. they are a barrier to protect the public and not an helpful assistance to criminals

37:07 How the f*ck (I usually don’t curse but I can’t help myself in this case) can someone, who killed a 5 year old girl, be paroled??? How clan someone like this EVER get released from prison, even back then??? The blood of Christopher is on the hands of the parole board members, who were stupid and irresponsible enough to let this guy out on parole. I hope they had more sleepless nights, than the poor mother, family and friends of Christopher combined.

These TV shows show just how lazy law enforcement have gotten over the years. Now they don’t do the hands on work, and rely completely on technology. So much evidence is ignored and ruined. It’s really sad and very pathetic.
@nlwilson4892
@nlwilson4892 6 ай бұрын
What evidence are you suggesting was ignored? They use more technology because it has got better and therefore gets more arrests and convictions. They don't use it instead of normal police work.

This was uploaded to KZbin 2 months ago, it’s probably a crime that occurred in the early 90’s. Technology was very limited in the 90’s and has been developed so crimes could not only be investigated but also proven with scientific evidence
