Diego is horrible but I can understand why a teen boy would find a baby shower boring. I'm a mom and had my son at age 33 and I did not want a baby shower as the idea of having to attend any event, especially at that point in my pregnancy when I was constantly uncomfortable, tired and having breathing problems constantly throughout that pregnancy did not sound like a way I wanted to spend my day. And I remember being bored to tears when a few years prior, I attended a friend's baby shower. So I did not have a baby shower and 7 years later, I don't regret my decision. Some people are just not into that type of thing, and there are other ways to celebrate a pregnancy. So with all that being said, I can understand why a teen boy would likely definitely find it boring. However instead of hurting his girlfriends feelings he did not need to say it out loud.

But one thing I'll say, a student especially those who are below 20 years I think you should focus on your studies and its okay if you are in love relationship with someone but don't marry and have a family untill you are financially independent . And planned pregnancy is the best decision everyone should make, unplanned pregnancy generally give rise to such depressing, saddening incidents. My younger sister thought that. She and her highschool boyfriend got pregnant at the end of highschool, they were both honor students with their college and careers already planned out and obtainable. Then the baby came and they both thought the new grandparents would take car eof the baby while they still continued on to college and started their career paths. Nope! Both of their college funds went towards the bills from the birth and although both families did A LOT to help out, he was still super immature while my sister was forced to deal with everything; which didn't turn out well since she'd always been catered to and spoiled. They ended up breaking up 2 weeks after the baby was born, it's been almost a decade now and neither of them went to college or got careers anywhere close to what they originally planned for. Now they're both heading towards 30 trying to have a late teen/early adulthood that they never had which isn't going well since they are both married to other people and have kids with those marriages as well. It's a bit sad because my niece doesn't even see her parents as parental figures and now she's helping to take care of her half siblings whenever she's either of her parent's homes.

It's never too late to go back to school & fulfill your dreams with a career. Life experience also counts. You sister can still come out on top, even if school is part time. Maybe help her out with babysitting, if you are able? Yes.. it's confusing to have 2 homes..being pulled in different directions. I speak from experience. The children pay in everyway..I was one of them. Especially going back & forth & having to grow up with adult's issues upon your shoulders. Tbh I'm pro choice but I'm happy that she kept her baby if that's what she decided was best for her. BUT it doesn't seem fair to expect the biological father to play a part in the child if he didn't want since the beginning. So I believe Diego should distance himself if he doesn't want to be a proper father, especially because as mentioned in the video, you want to model healthy relationships for your child.

My mother was in this situation and convinced my dad to stay. He abused me physically and emotionally long into adulthood. I BEGGED my mother to leave him throughout my life but she felt trapped in the relationship because of money and the kids. Children who grow up with awful fathers know that no father is far better. Take his child support and get out of there or you and your children will be abused like the rest of us kids that never had the option to leave. And the PTSD you and your children develop will harm you forever even if you escape. Run.
