This is the complete opposite of most love songs. It has a much better message. Instead of "I would kill for you, I'd mess my life up for you" it's "I would clean myself up for you and fix my decadent ways" which can be much harder at times. Nothing shows commitment like ending an addiction to fix your relationship.

I'm really dissapointed with some people trashing this song and their new stuff. You do realize that bands should evolve and test their sound right? Do you really want to listen to the same stuff all the time? Nickelback anyone? What if the beatles only stuck with pop boy band shlock that was targeted mainly towards teenage girls and they never tested themselves with Sgt Peppers? What if David Bowie stuck to acoustic folsky type music and never came out with The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust? Sometimes evolving doesn't work out perfectly. Rush and Metallic are examples. But personally I love Metallica's Black album and post stuff way more than their early stuff. Do you want another band that will be stuck in time never changing their style *cough* Megadeth *cough* or do you want a band to expand their bubble over time and still find a way to make that sound theirs? Mother Mother is STILL Mother Mother and they still fucking rock and have never had a song I didn't like. If you don't like it, fine, leave, we don't need your negativity over something like music. It's not hurting anyone. Let the people who like it enjoy it and you can go listen to something you do enjoy.

I agree! I've always loved Mother Mother because they always tried something different with each of their albums. This album is no exception. This one is far from my favourites of their albums, don't get me wrong I still love a lot of the songs in it, but I'm glad they're always trying something new for a change, it gives them a breath of fresh air.
