Ancestor Dr. Frances Cress Welsing astutely pointed out the racism of PBS, back in the 1980s, in creating Sesame Street in 1969. She did a comparison of Sesame Street to Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood and pointed out how insulting and dumbed down Sesame Street was with strange creatures, an ill-mannered monster in a trash can, and vampires teaching Black and Puerto Rican children in a make believe "inner city" studio setting, how to count and perform their A, B, Cs. In comparison, she pointed out that Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood was sophisticated and provided real life scenarios with human interaction such as a trip to a bakery to see how bread was made step by step, or how a carpenter creates a wooden table and chair from start to finish. Meaningful learning that challenges young people and presents learning that utilizes audio/visual and kinesthetic modalities. Black children and their parents were steered toward Sesame Street while Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood was in fact, the real learning odyssey that often went overlooked because it wasn't hip or too corny. Sad beyond tears. Not surprised by the Black children being slighted as the Sesame Street program has been insulting Black folks' intelligence since its debut. Also, miss me with that bull crap about hypersensitivity and the evil of wokeness when the real fear among the dominant society happens to be white fragility and the growing awareness of the descendants of American Slavery begin to understand one fact; it is almost impossible to oppress an historically conscious people. Pull up Summer is in full effect.

Apologies not going to fix this situation and many others like it, actually fire all those staff members is one way to make that apology worth something, then compensate those parents is another way of making those apology have some actual worth, and the person who made those dumb, ridiculous excuses for what the individuals underneat those beloved characters did, and why they did what they did should step down from their position they shouldn't be there, goes to show that you will find any reason to keep those hateful individuals in your circle as if you side with what they did, and didn't see their actions as wrong because doing stuff like what they did is somehow "normal" to hate and disrespect other races of people, and the fact that you would go as far as to make those silly excuses rather than to do the right thing and get rid of them, its almost as if your in agreement with them, and no training in the world can solve racism a racist will always be a racist unless they choose to go under somekinda deprograming therapy season of somesort the same kinda sessions that those who where once apart cult groups has to go under inorder to get their minds uncluttered from all the nonsense they where fed to become well thinking people again thats the kinda programs they need but still not to be apart of any job positions like this again, training don't solve these issues it's the same hateful persons who's going to give these kids hi fives forcefully.

These hypersensitive reactions are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Parades like these happen at theme parks across America every single day, and the cast members (characters) don't have the time to stop and hug or high-five every single person in the parade route. They have to keep the parade moving which means they'll get to make contact with some of the people but not all of them. The real problem is hypersensitivity on the part of the parents of these children, it is the quintessential hypersensitivity and victim mentality that is so heavily steeped into that culture. They fabricate their own interpretations of what happened and why it happened and turn it into a federal case, using all kinds of harsh words, getting all up in arms, seeking to mobilize the cancel culture in full force and file lawsuits, and as I said, make mountains out of mole hills. It's nothing but a bunch of baloney. And if these people think that they're going to create unification in this country with this repeated behavior day after day, they're sadly mistaken. What they're doing is stoking more division. Just because people stay silent (for fear of being cancelled) it doesn't mean that anger is not brewing and when this anger builds up enough, it's going to push people from being moderate, rational people over to the extreme side. All of this hypersensitivity and the cancel culture are causing more division than any other factor. The people doing all this cancelling need to wake up.

They literally HAVE to move on and stop hugging/high fiving every damn child. Jesus Christ, talk about being so self centered you’re suing a theme park filed with hundreds of kids! It’s not cause you’re black, it’s cause the people in those costumes have a time limit typically and they switch out, if they stopped for everyone they’d never move. Plus you LEGIT have tunnel vision in them. Talk about narcissistic behavior! Those poor girls. I feel bad for them girls man. And they made the second statement SO YALL WOULD RELAX. Because the truth is most likely that tired hot sweaty person in the suit simply didn’t see them! But hearing what you want is better than being made a fool of.
