To anyone who wants to play with Insect type monsters: If you use Resonance Insect, you need to have Doom Dozer in the deck. Resonance searches a lvl5 or higher Insect when sent to the GY from the Field, but it also send one Insect from your Deck to the GY if it's banished. Doom Dozer special summons itself by banishing 2 Insect monsters from the GY. Resonance Insect will search Doom Dozer. Doom Dozer will banish Resonance. Resonance can send Goki Pole to the GY, and with that you can special summon any vanilla lvl4 Insect, which will destroy any Monster on the Field with greater attack than itself.

I just came from that other video you made talking about Confronting the "C", that would unironically help out a deck like this just by letting you shove a defense position monster in peoples' faces, and Retaliating "C" can search both that and Maxx "C" when removed from the field. Also Stumbling is a common option in Digital Bugs that forces all monsters into defense position on summon, you can greatly increase the chances of a bunch of things coming out in defense position with that card(though it won't affect links because those are attack position only). If you're running Kaijus then Capture Mission can also set those face-down(and draws 2 cards if it gets nuked by backrow removal for whatever reason which is always nice), and if you set a Kaiju on their side face down then you can drop another one in their faces(and cause the first one to self-destruct when attacked into because of the 1 Kaiju per side rules).

Level Limit - Area B is a good card that can force your opponent to change their level-based monster to defense position. . Or you can bring Ojama Duo & Trio. Activate them on your turn. Summon the token on Def position, tribute.

Run Bagooska, it sets all monsters to defense and negates their effects while they're in defense position. Even though it isn't an insect, you can xyz into it easily with insects and stall for mother spider for card advantage, then you can switch all your monsters to ATK and have a beater who has like a secondary protection effect no one realises is decent. Can go into an OTK with mother spider as well since you can swap Bagooska into attack, tribute and direct for most likely game. You can also either banish Bagooska in GY or use Pot of Avarice to shuffle it back into extra so mother spider is playable again.
