What other star, given Hogan’s spot, wouldn’t have held on as long as he could? Hogan has enough talent to do it for twenty years.

Hulk Hogan has been on top for so many years because he has that experience to stay on top, its like saying whos the greatest basketball player of all time MJ of course because he had a gift that no one else had, King of pop Michael Jackson and the list goes on.
@jpbart13903 жыл бұрын
you said what i've been saying for years. i always called him the michael jackson of wrestling. even down to the tall poppy syndrome where the media cut them down & made them look like scum.

I truly appreciate that you took the time to upload these videos, but I wonder why OTR doesn't have it's own KZbin channel. Just a guess, but maybe they don't own the tapes or something along those lines. Anyway, like I said, love the uploads.

Funny I met Brutus Beefcake at a Wrestling Convention and asked him about Hogan. He flat out said that he thinks he’s too good for the little people Yet Hogan says he’s a close friend. Don’t think he even knows what that means

Basically he was asked to point out people as conniving, manipulative and political like him and he points out Triple H in a heartbeat, and just to knock another silent star who chose to get away from these bullshits, he had to include Ultimate Warrior as well.
@GajeelRedfox6 жыл бұрын
What are you even talking about? First of all, the question before that was whether he would change his past to doing less politics and making more friends, and he said no. So first of all, he admitted that he was a big politician backstage, even spelled it out that all he wanted to do is keeping his top spot. So the question you are trashing him for was who else is like him, who else has some good sense to backstage politics. He said HHH, and lo and behold, he is now the successor in line for Vince Mcmahon. You don't get to inherit WWE without being a political mastermind, so if anything, Hulk gave an honest praise to Paul. I mean ,he literally said he is also a great worker in ring, so what else do you wanted him to say? As for the Warrior, he was dumb for politics and no one can deny it. He came in as a bad wrestler and a bad politician, because all he had was his looks and energy. Whether you love or hate the Warrior, it's very delusional to think that he had any talent for backstage politics. He was screwed over left and right because he was an easy pray.

Bret Hart really shouldn't take it personal,..bc it wasn't, where popularity and fame are concerned, I wonder if Hulk Hogan wouldn't throw his own mother under the bus. Its been proven with how many wrestlers throughout the years..guys who thought Hogan was their friend and would look out for them. Hogan is the namesake of Hogan Syndrome for a reason, he had Vince's ear, and attention all those years, he wasn't one of the boys, from his own dressing room to having that veto power..
