The narration I once heard from a very knowledgeable person in my mother language "Mandinka or Mandingo" according to his narration was Sawda gave her rights to Aisah RA because she was afraid that Rasul SAW may divorce her because during the Jahilija period they divorce their wifes when they were old. And I actually believe in this narration. And Dr Yasir Kahdir explain it very well.

Salam alaykoom non-muslims used to do hajj because although much has been corrupted their society had some tips and bit of the religion of Ibrahim, they would do hajj and even follow the concept of holy months were fighting would be forbidden, nonetheless hajj became different after Islam thro many points and Allah knows the best.
