That works pretty good for a quick fix. The 3M Headlight cleaning polish works well too.

For 20 bucks you can buy a can of 2k clear coat Wet sand it with 800 grit then 400 grit Finish sanding in a horizontal pattern Tape off and paper around the head light And spray the headlights with clear coat. Comes out mint Headlights now have uv protection and will last for years

Good video. I'm buying this product. I recall a number of years back buying a Turtle Wax version of headlight restorer that was a multi process and using that just went on and on for poor results. I enjoyed the video and watched it at a low volume. When your dog barked my dog demanded to go outdoors to see yours.

Thanks for sharing. This might be an option for people who live in apartment complex that don't have alot of storage space. I wonder how long it will last between treatments verses original treatment of sandpaper

She looks brand spankin' new, Jamie! I used Mothers Metal Polish on my headlamps awhile back and it works pretty well. Check out Sweet Project Cars channel; they have the same mission as you...to provide low cost and easy ways to detail your ride. Keep up the great tutorials and tips!

WD-40 works too
@jamiejonesthecarman6 жыл бұрын
Carie, WD-40 should never be used on your headlights. It is a very harsh chemical and it displaces the water in the plastic of the lenses. If it is used over and over again, over time, it will leak through the lens and form oil droplets on the inside of your headlights.Save yourself the time, headache and money later and use only the products that are specifically made for headlight restoration. Hope this helps. :)

These products all look great in your garage, but wait a day and bring your car out in the sunlight and see how crappy your headlights look after it dries out. Sorry, but the truth is the truth. Thanks for trying though.
