And he was saying how hard it is to match to lip flaps. Sad that I didn’t ask him about this anime but I think it was for the best to keep the atmosphere light and happy. He gave a good response on my question about what his thoughts were on the anime voice acting world. And he said that it pays a lot less and that he has met many people from it from comic cons. And that he loved Astro boy. Also he mentioned since another person asked about him being in 3 Pinocchio’s. He talked about that room He said a bit more. Through a long series of coincidences -- starting with seeing your first video about Happy Science -- my husband and I actually went and saw Age of Elohim *in theaters. Bizarrely, our local theater was one of just a handful in the U.S. showing it, and there are always Happy Science pamphlets at our local H-mart, so I was excited to potentially meet some local believers. Instead, it was us and exactly one other audience member. Husband and I were helpless with laughter for most of the movie (thanks in part to some wildly overpriced theater wine), while the other audience member was absolutely dead silent. 10/10 moviegoing experience. thank you Geoff for sending us on that journey

I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around the storytelling logic of spending an entire 2-hour “Part 0” getting your leads to the point of “maybe they’ll have superpowers someday”, then opening “Part 1” with them having unlocked their powers, formed a superhero team, and met their villain all during an offscreen timeskip, _then_ transplanting one and only one of those leads to an entirely different setting half an hour in, *_then_* also dropping the remaining lead for the next one, and the closest real-life example I can anchor any of it to is “crowdfunding project that badly misallocated its resources”.

Man, I need to be more careful. I feel really bad that they are using Stan Lee's name for this. Not that everything he made was perfect but there is no reason to drag his name like this. When you look at the heroes Stan Lee co-created you notice a pattern, you have the Avengers like Iron Man who depending on the version needs different tech to keep his heart running, Captain America who fits with Stan Lee s creations since he was a weak and sickly boy before the super soldier serum, Hulk who with a bit of anger turns from the weak and meek Bruce Banner to the Hero most associated with super strength with the possible exception of Superman or Spider-Man who was the needy and bullied Peter Parker before the spider bite. Weak people given power and using it for good because ultimately, no matter how many bad guys there are in the world, there is good in people. But this cult decides that... No, I will only make myself angry and that way is only a ticket to hifl after all.
