Tom using all his suggestive powers to stop the players from letting Yvette die in the hole lol I appreciate Tom's generosity in not mutilating/killing the player characters, but I really love when he lets them suffer terrible consequences and just has a selection of backup characters at hand. edit: the end of this episode is exactly what I love to see!

Yeah I'm not sure why he wanted or expected them to save Yvette. Like, she was a 2ndry character to begin with that none of them particularly liked, and she just tried to kill them all. Not to mention that transporting her and patching her up would slow them down. Not to mention that she IMMEDIATELY tried to kill them again. I appreciate Tilly trying to be a good sport (ayy) by picking up on what Tom was putting down and trying to save her, but I do not blame her at all for tossing Yvette back in.

Was looking up what submerging your face in liquid nitrogen does and I think that this quote from San Diego Cryotherapy is fully trustworthy: _There are so many benefits to a liquid nitrogen facial treatment. From the beginning, it helps restore your skin's elasticity giving it better fitness and radiance. At the same time, it can be used to reduce pigmentation to help even your skin tone._ Beatrice was just getting a little touch up

As much as I'm almost certain you are making a joke. As the therapy would be very controlled quantities. 😅 But in case you are not, here is what happens with industrious amounts of liquid nitrogen: The vapour of liquid nitrogen can rapidly freeze skin tissue and eye fluid, resulting in cold burns, frostbite, and permanent eye damage even by brief exposure. From a summary of handling liquid nitrogen.

The Leidenfrost effect would mean it would take a few seconds to start freezing/burning, but yeah it would basically give you a really bad chemical burn if it's for a minute or more.

Fun fact, being dunked into liquid nitrogen would freeze your face solid. Like instant frostbite across your entire face. IT's super duper not good.

It wouldn't be instant that would go against the fundamentals of heat transfer. Nitrogen wants to be a gas at atmospheric pressure & your skin is well above the boiling point of liquid nitrogen so on instant contact the nitrogen would create a pocket between your skin & the liquid, but the transfer of heat & turbulent pressure would strip that barrier away in a few seconds. That is called the Leidenfrost Effect, which would basically mean you could technically dip your face into liquid nitrogen for like three seconds & come out completely dry. (Don't try that obviously) Depending on the rules of how long a turn is in mothership he would be fine for a single turn... Then horribly burned after.

gen bit sad about lydias in-character comment about beatrices name. :( i get RP'ing a bigoted valley girl that body shames others but cmon now tho i think its a slightly extended issue with players n their characters not being the same gender, n not being consistent with pronouns. could be good to include in character introduction to mention pronouns, as well as when players introduce themselves to let us know their pronouns.

I used to listen to some true crime podcasts until i got to one where a lady was struggling with a guy and trying to run away from him and she was suddenly free from his grasp but couldn't work out how. While she was running away she realised he had cut both her arms off around the middle of her forearm. Freaky and horrible and I had to stop listening to true crime stuff.

Good on you for stopping. True crime turnw people's worst experiences into entertainment, often without even asking them or their loved ones. They're also not bound by any definition of truthfulness, so they can just turn vicims into caricatures, or romanticize terrible people.

Everyone's (ok, almost everyone's) characters are too likeable for a stereotypical slasher scenario! Some of those rolls were a stab in the heart. 🥲 Although I can probably just copy and paste this comment on part 6 in a few days.
