Speaking from a long time player of the series, outstanding job on this remix! I love the variations and constant drum and bass type of beat it has. In addition, sound cues from the original play well in this and the melodies. Nice to know that producers are still remixing these great classic tracks. Not sure why there are dislikes, but keep it up man your work is well done. :)

the voice clips are indeed from Q3, I couldn't find the UT ones at the time so I went for the closest thing possible (and I refuse to use the orgasmic female announcer from later installments lol)

These two were definitely rival games back then and there was always a beef between UT and Q players, which game was better. When I heard this track at the first time I was a bit weird to hear "Prepare to fight!" line, but immediately it gave the track the shot of amphetamine rush! Very, very cleverly placed! Mad propz! I was always an UT guy but since my friends liked Quake better, in the garage LAN parties we mostly played Quake. Ahh, the memories.

While most video game ost remixes are just "that", a remix of a greater work that just translates some parts of the original into another genre, your remixes are great standalone tracks while still keeping the core theme of the original intact all the time.
