Motion of No Confidence Withdrawn

The motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele, introduced by Gordon Darcy Lilo, MP for Central Honiara, was withdrawn today after Lilo confirmed that he did not have enough support to move forward with the challenge to the Prime Minister’s leadership.

Hon.Lilo said that he does not have the number because samfala members lo side blo hem run away finis. He could not have a deferment of the motion, so hem withdraw the motion. It would have been interesting to hear hon.Lilo tell us the reasons why he moved the motion, had he been given the opportunity to do talk. I guess, we'll just have to hope that government will do better because life for many ordinary Solomon Islanders like me barava hard tumas na. Em alright for rich man. No more medicine lo NRH and clinics , price lo store increase almost every month and the list goes on.

It seems that members of the government side have been divided but afraid to escape, because of that Lilo have taken that bold step to raise the motion, who here will agree that this country is one of the most expensive country to live in? Whats your realistic expense per week? Have you survived a 3000 to 4000 per fortnight salary until the next pay period? This are realistic situations which everyone of the government should think about!

I can't believe we have such Prime Minister who seemed not to know his role. Lilo would be a good Prime Minister. He already proved that when he was the then Prime Minister and the economy was thriving at his time. Well done next time.
