I don't do a lot of visual media anymore so I'm in a similar boat. I go in cycles, right now GenoSamuel's horrifying Chris Chan doc has had a lot of replays for me. Not only am I hearing a person's mind degrade over 15 years, I'm also listening to a person make constant horrible decisions. It's like the part of your brain that tells you this would never work doesn't exist in Chris Chan.

X no longer exists. It was replaced with NC-17 in the early 1990s. XXX was never a rating. The MPAA never copyrighted the X rating, so the porn industry co-opted the X rating and just slapped it all over their movies. Nobody at the Classification and Ratings Administration assigns ratings to porn.
