A fun video is watching Ray Romano sitting at a table where one play has AAAA vs. a single opponent with a Royal Flush. It was already an awesome video, and the fact that Romano was there to comment on it was the cherry on top. He didn't even stutter.

I think I requested this episode. Thank you again. Guessing cards is more difficult in poker than in blackjack. The more you play a game, the easier it is to win. Just keep your head on amount of players and possible arrangements of cards dealt to get a possible win. If I ever do play in public casino I will try to remember to keep my emotional and physical reactions restrained.

Correction 1:00:16 ... uh, you *can* buy back in up to a certain point! If you lose your very first hand you're allowed one or maybe two "re-buys". After a certain point such as 'Day 3' then no, you wouldn't be able to buy back in as you would be given a small star vs. a huge stack and that's just unfair (to you) and taking up space at the tables.

So it's said poker was invented in New Orleans in 1829, but John Montagu (the Earl of Sandwich credited with the invention of the sandwich) died in 1792 and never stood foot on American soil. It may have been cards he was playing, but not poker by this logic.
@emdiar6588

He was not credited with inventing anything at the time, and he certainly never claimed to have invented putting food between bread. That is just what some people accuse him of these days. He was just well known for eating his meals that way so he could continue gambling (not poker according to the chronology), so his name became synonymous with it. Hitler wasn't the first person to have a 'toothbrush moustache, but now we call it a Hitler moustache. Davy Crockett wasn't the first person to make a hat out of a raccoon pelt. Moses wasn't the first baby to be put in a ' Moses basket'. Humphrey Bogart wasn't the first person to keep a cigarette permanently in his mouth, but he gave his name to hogging a spliff because of it. It's not always who invents a thing. It's who is most associated with it that counts, and if it sticks, that's the name of it.

Fletcher might be a good poker player, but he doesn't have over $500k in tournament winnings (according to the Hendon Mob Database). Take away his two WSOP ME finishes and we're down to about $150k, which I wouldn't say no to, but I'm guessing he makes the bulk of his money elsewhere. If he makes a living as a poker player, he does it in cash games.
