It’s crazy to hear just how thoughtful and aware you are when it comes to responding to user feedback. Not only do you guys quickly add user requested features, but here you’re constantly acknowledging, anticipating and planning out future improvements and potential customer requests. I hope you guys go on to create even more helpful solutions to people’s problems because you seem SO customer centric and that is just incredible (and rare in business) to see. And I don’t even want to bring it up, but on top of all that offering a Lifetime License is just 😇✨

Those who are pro, they know their stuff but those who are starting after effect, having such detailed guide would increase it's appealing. It's an amazing tool guys.

In many ways, you're doing a better job of updating Adobe's tools than Adobe is. 3rd party developers are the heart beat of why AE is still worth using in 2023. cheers

That would only be a massive loss to the community of users. One of the most well known companies in the world has no shortage or difficulty attracting great talent. If Adobe was to scoop up a man like him (+ his buddies) they wouldn't allow him to create and implement 98% of these fundamental features. Adobe takes years to include basic/common sense features and fixes for things thousands of people ask for and struggle with regularly. Lol, if Adobe hired all the amazing Devs creating top tier plugins like these AE would be in a much worse state than it is today.

Awesome! Very recently adopted Motion into my workflow and super happy with it. The emitter would be incredibly useful if there was a way to control how the particles are affected by gravity as well.

Suggestion: When we add the "Dynamics" effect to a group of multiple selected layers, it should give us ONE MASTER CONTROL layer for all of the selected layers. You could also implement an "alt-click" option for this. I think a lot of ppl would love this.

Amazing tool !! I use it in every project I have started from V1 of motion. Thank you so much for putting so much effort into it I would like to suggest for the new emmiter tool to have an option to see the comp in the preview while recording. so it will be easier to make the animation related to objects in the scene . Maybe something you can toggle on or off if needed. Thank you ♥️

Great stuff! Thank you for making our lives (a tonn) easier. What if we upgrade a keyframe cloning tool by adding one peculiarity: if I want to clone keyframes of some property to other layers but with an offset. E.g. I've got a few layers offset randomly on the timeline and I added simple scale animation from 0 to 100 from the starting point of the layer. And then I want to add the same animation to the starts of all other layers (which have been offset already). That would help a lot!

Love the update! great work team. If I can request one feature... I do weeks/months on the road and I'm often off-grid in the deep mountains and deserts. I always try to remember to keep my app open so Motion 4 will load but I've had it crash or had to restart and if I have zero service to connect I can't get Motion 4 to load because it requires internet to activate. I REALLY need a work around for this before my next off-grid trip. My starlink and phone doesn't work everywhere. I'd happily pay a fee to turn that connection requirement off. Thanks!

Appreciate the kind words! We'll check out a "nomad mode" ⛰️🏜️ not sure what is possible yet. There should be a 14 day offline period; but we can look at increasing duration. Also sweet lifestyle - sounds dope! 🤘

This 100%! I like to lay out my text and then break it to animate it on, but I lose the ability to use text animators when I break it using Motion.

Hi, Just 2 points - 1 :: I don't know if it's me but seems have a bug with Delay tools, I watch tutorial but impossible to have a result here with 3 simple square. Always the same message "Not enough selected layers" but I have 3 layers ! I don't understand the problem - 2 :: A GOOD POSSIBLE UPDATE will be to have always visible when "Tools" open the 3 buttons "Composition Timeline Anchor+" just above" Swatches Focus etc ..". - Painful to have to return all the time to the home of the plugin, only 3 click and not 5 like actually : Home, Timeline, Move mouse, Close, Tools. - Ok there is Pin Tools but maybe better UX, just a idea. - Last point, is it possible to change the shortcut "a" to seek timeline? InFrench version "a" is not possible Thanks

Hello, Mt. Mograph team! I purchased Motion4 in 2021 with a one-time payment. I noticed that the payment model has now changed to monthly/annual subscription plans. I'd like to know how this affects users who previously bought the product. Will we continue to have lifetime access to the plugin, or will we need to switch to the new subscription model?

Happy to answer your question! If you already owned a Lifetime License, nothing changes. All your tools will continue to work, like normal! 🙏 After 11 years of making plugins, I wanted to try to "grow up" the company and build bigger creative tools. And, with all the crazy world price changes over the last year or two, our development costs have tripled or more. After a lot of thought, we decided to change the pricing model for new users. So we could cover our own expenses easier and afford to develop new bigger software in the future. As a company, we have never had a consistent revenue, which has made it tricky to operate. I'm hoping to build and deliver cooler, more helpful tools. I tried hard to keep the cost reasonable, and hope you support this change. I appreciate you using Motion-4 and hope you continue to enjoy it!

I feel the plugin is becoming over-bloated! I don't want simulations, that's not why I bought Motion for. We already have particular and other robust tools for this!

Im sorry but.. why implement a bunch of gimmicks that nobody asked for instead of some QOL or productivity tools? If i want a particle emitter.. i get one. But i want time saving tools like copy paste keyframe data, unprecomp, (true)duplicate comps, change a selected pre-comp dimensions and length, etc. there is like 50 small tools i would implement before id think about a particle system

Guys please bring some kind of keyframing parent into motion! I used to have a script that did it but was super buggy and had to give up on it. Keyframing the parent would be a gamechanger!
