I was at this concert with my wife. This band blew everyone else away their whole set. Then when they played this they just made the night perfect. The lead singer came back out later to preform with the headliner. But this speech with their performance was something special.

Anyone in there early 30's right now was in high school when LP came out and just shook the foundation of the music sense in the late 90's /early 2000s. LP was for everyone. White kids, black... it didn't matter.. Everyone loved it. brought us all together. Rest easy Chester. Thank you.

I love his advice given to his fans when he said they should reach out pages of their favorite bands and find other fans who have same or similar problem, cause there are times when you just feel like you, for whatever reasons, can't tell your problems to your family or friends. Personally, I think that sometimes it's more easier to talk to people who you really don't know, but who can relate with you cause they have similar problems. I think those people are more thinking of way how to help you and less how to judge you and say staff like "It's just a phase," "You're just having bad days" and "If you think positive, your life will be better". Cause lot of people don't think it isn't just a bad day and that maybe it's something much worse and deeper. Usually, no one really knows for how long you feel that way, but it seems like everyone are "good" identifying with you and your pain. Don't underestimate someone's pain, cause you really don't know what they're going through and for how long. And please, don't judge them. Everyone can do that, but rarely anyone can even try to understand them. I'm not a fan of this band, to be honest, I just heard one of their songs, but I respect this guy who actually cared enough not only to give tribute to Chester, but also to actually give a good advice to his fans. It's really nice seeing that bands care for their fans. I only wish that someone gave similar advice to Chester, maybe now he would be still alive.

Sanja Simić Spot on, I whole heartedly agree with you. This was a lovely tribute and you could tell it came from the right place when he was speaking to those people...he really meant every word and seemed very genuine. I have suffered myself for over 15 years and I tell my family that I'm not in a good place but I have to hold back a lot because they struggle themselves with their own issues and it hurts me to further hurt them. Things like suicidal thoughts are so incredibly complex and I hate that there are people who say cold hearted stuff about it but I'm also really glad that bands are reaching out to their fans and there are people who care and will listen to those suffering. This is all very sad and I'm probably going to have to switch off this news for a while because I've been dealing with similar feelings of late myself, but I will still feel devastated for Chester, his friends and family and all those that felt he meant something to them.

Been an LP fan since birth. I'm 16 born in 2000 and I grew up listening to all the music my older brother loved. One of his favorite bands was and still is linkin park. I have and always will have an emotional connection to every song by linkin park. Chester Bennington was a part of almost every human beings life. Weather they liked it or not. There aren't many people from this generation that haven't heard at least one linkin park song on the radio. My prayers are out to Chester's family and friends. I felt like I knew him personally, as did many people. He was and is a big part of my life. And I say to him, rest well

I moved on from this genre, but it's true what some of the comments say, the people in these bands AND THEIR FANS are often very kind despite their hardcore appearance. Thank you, Chris for the beautiful message and the band for the awesome gesture! I hope Chester finally found peace and I hope this brings people closer together so Chester can keep healing even after his passing ♥

He just seems really intimidating in the music vids in my opinion, haven't met him personally but I have seen a lot of interviews and he seems like a really nice guy

I originally thought the stage makeup was a little off-putting, but once you get used to/past it, they’re great.

Probably the best LP cover that a band has done after Chester passed away.
