The masts are so tall as they carried the wireless aerials, the higher they were, the better the range.

I purchased one of these. Waited for ever for it to come in. I wish you all would have told us it came in two colors. Mine is the war colors but I sure would have loved the Asia colors. This model is amazing. I have scratch build RC ships for years now and I was floored how amazing this model is. I will be doing some hyper detail stuff to it just to make it mine. most of the things I dreamed of doing over the years waiting for Modle are not needed because the Modle is gorgeous the way it is. Looking forward to getting it in the water.
