I’m debating on ordering this, I really want it but 429$ seems kinda high by 100$ when I ordered one similar for 320$, but I’m still debating on this. This model does have some really nice features like the metal rail and design of the back swim platform is very nice

How long will this boat run with the battery it comes with? Is there a way to take the black decals off the top windows off the removable panels to put lights inside or are they permanently like that?

I love the bancroft vessels but the pricetag is totally redonkulous. The average hobbyist isn't going to be able to shell out a grand for a ship somebody needs to catch a clue these boats are not that high a quality that they merit a 600 dollar pricetag let alone a $1000.00 or more. Especially when once you get 1 you have to rebalance them so they sail right!! Absolutely Absurd! For that price I could build 1 myself and probably have a better quality vessel!

There are all different varieties of boats of all different price ranges to satisfy niches. This model comes out of the box, needs no ballast and can be sailed as soon as the included battery is charged. Some of our higher priced models have levels of hand crafted detail and high-quality materials that are display model worthy and again can be on the water the day you open it. While they may not be for you, they certainly are for others and hopefully as we grow the brand we can find something you would warrant in the range you wish. If you ever get around to building this one, please send us pics. Always love to see some good builds
