I want to thank you so much for your motivational verse and talk this morning. We found out last week that my husband’s stress test he had on his heart was abnormal and we were kind of down about it all weekend. We both went to work this morning (well I went to my desk in the living room because I do medical billing, etc from home). We talked through out the day still feeling kind of down. I listened to praise and worship music while I worked and it helped but when I got off from work and turned your vlog on that God spoke through you the things we needed to hear! So as soon as my husband came home I pulled it back up and asked him to please listen. He thought it was just going to be about cooking but I could tell by the time he finished listening to that part he felt better too. Thank you for listening to God and doing the work He wants and needs you to do!

Good morning Ms. Amy, another beautiful motivation Monday. Love your dress, nice colors. Hope y'all had a wonderful time at the beach. Boy your up before the birds. Do you ever put little notes in Greg's lunch? I used to make my hubby's lunch and put little notes. pollen is horribly here in TX it blows down from our Hill Country, from the cedar trees. Oh, Happy Palm Sunday. Hey, real life stuff. Give yourself grace! The cake can turn them into cake pops or just roll and dip in chocolate. Have a blessed evening.

Everything looks yummy!! Honey Bun cake is one of our favs. If you swirl it a little with a butter knife, before you bake, it will give you some crispy sugar & cinnamon bits. Makes it even better! Almost like a coffee cake. Sooo good. 🍰

I’m trying to find a new normal. My husband of 52 years passed away March 13, after being sick for 4 years and bed bound for the last 16 months. I I’ve gone from being a wife and a full time care giver, to, I don’t even know. I know the Lord is watching over me and giving me strength to carry on, but it’s sure hard and I sure do miss him.

I always actually measure the ingredients when I bake cookies, etc. I have trouble with being more free with amounts of ingredients like is possible when cooking. I enjoy baking more and seldom have failures since baking involves chemical reactions and needs a certain level of precision.

Lanai's won't really protect from pollen unless you have glass windows instead of screens which nobody really does... Also, if you don't mix cookie ingredients completely sometimes that can make greasy cookies-talking from experience lol

No i agree..we had just watched someone on social share their lanai which was covered in tree mess and tons of pollen and I know it goes through too..it was yucky...

Amy it may be just the brand of peanut butter may have more oils in it than jif Skippy Reese's store brands quality sometimes don't bake well

Oh geeze! Recipes are just a base to follow/start people off. They are meant to tweak and make your own, Or follow the exact recipe. Everyone doesn't have the same tastes, if we all did thing's exactly the same, what a boring world this would be. ❤

I make Easter bread family tradition. I made 8 batches two braided loafs each batch and had to ship to family in FL, PA, NY, RI. Something my mother made every year. My grandkids love it and look forward to it.

Monday brush all the floors, Tuesday mop all the floors, Wednesday do the washing (there is only 2 of us), today I got up and done it all! Thank you Amy, for your words of encouragement today. I needed it as a reminder that God has me even when I don't. As far as the foot massager I'd put baking soda in there after each use and let it soak up any moisture and odors., vacuum it out with a handheld vacuum and then spray the inside with antibacterial spray and let set in front of a fan to make sure it dries all the way. Also my husband did screen enclosures for over 10 years and I know for a fact you can have a screened roof put on to where you can still see the stars and sun etc. It will help keep bugs etc out. FYI though they are not cheap! Have a wonderful rest of your week. God bless. Enjoyed your video today! ❤😊

Hi Amy, when I make that cinnamon loaf, I use a knife to swirl the batter with the sugar mixture. I wonder if that would stop the middle from sinking when it’s baked 😊

Congratulations. What helps me get though the anxiety and depression is pickup the bible pick one of the 4 gospels or psalms. Find a scripture and memory it. Journaling helps me get out of my head.
