That's sad that the average barber doesn't have $1000 in their bank account... Every barber has a day when a lot of unexpected money comes through the door.

Currently a corporate analyst, but I a huge passion for hair and human connection. I've been thinking about pursuing this career path as I'm tired of the corporate life. A little nervous to go through with this change as it would be a big pay cut and I have bills I have to meet. Any advice?

The government monitors your accounts when you put cash in and get cash out, but saving the money that's where the barbers need to be more careful at. They need to rework their strategy. Some people can't put their money in a cookie jar and save it while others don't mind just so long as it's there when they want it

Master barber is a title and nothing is behind that. Writing a Book has nothing to do with being a barber. It's the mind I was born a barber, which is my last name. Bill Barber The Great 31years in the game,, started at 17.

djbrothabill being a master of anything has a lot more behind it than you describe. It’s not just a title or a name buys it’s the years of studying, applying and perfecting ones craft in a particular field. DL’s book has everything to do with bathing because a lot of barber to save money and they live the fast life. He explains the method he used to accumulate large amounts of money the first time is the exact method he speaks about in his book. He shows barbers what they can have with just $20 a day saved and put away over a course of a year. Sometimes we all need outside perspective to help us become better people and better masters at our crafts. We hope that helped you understand the topics you may have been confused about Also, please like this video and subscribe to our channel.

@@Awiseway Thats talk brother. I been in the game since 13,and it took off at 17 and I'm 48 years old now. I saved 600 and 50 dollars by charging 2 dollars for cuts in 1989 and got my 1st apartment and never looked back. 1st barber to have a barber chair at 17 in the projects, yes where I started at. I treat everyone the same, because money is the same. 3 things to survive this game is 1Great mind,, dedication 2 Good conversation, love for people 3 Good equipment No 1 taught me this, I had to teach my self this great business for my family I produced along with being a barber. I took trips b4 I started a family from being a barber and now my trips expanded b4 the year 2000. I look at my self as just a barber, never master barber. Master barber is a title and nothing behind it but talk. What's behind being a barber is what you do for your family by being a barber. I accomplished alot for my self and my family and still do.

In the state I live in the difference between a barber and a master barber is the time invested and another exam. Just like a cosmetology license as a class A cosmetology license just a bit more time invested. Up until this passed june if you weren’t a master barber you couldn’t open a barbershop or even cut hair and use a straight razor if a master barber wasn’t present. The book is how he as a barber managed to save money. Let’s face it we’re all going to retire from behind the chair at some point
