The first couple of weeks will be hard but after that you will be coasting saving money in your hand. With your money go to nice restaurants by yourself nice clothes or nice trips to relax your mind , body and soul away from casinos. Once you break that evil spirit that we can’t see and the urge to gamble you will bounce back saving money more than you ever had. Once you have the money put it in your hand and say to yourself ,” I don’t need to gamble I have money and I will always have money.” God bless my friend and my prayers are with you, and your not alone.

The best part of breaking free is looking at spending money different. When I was addicted and went grocery shopping, and to put gas in my car, buying clothes, fixing my car , and paying bills, All of these things I always thought it was expensive and a waste of money. I always complained how expensive everything was and I limited myself on necessities. But when I went to gamble I never limited myself, I always wanted to gamble my last dollar to chase a dream that is a big fat lie of becoming a millionaire gambling. Breaking free from that Evil spirit is a Relief of being a new person in life. A new start to a new beginning of enjoying life , having money to travel and eat buying necessities for hard works pays feels good. And you will too my friends if you really want it, god bless.

The first 2 weeks are hard but then when you break free and realize that your hard work money can buy stuff that you always wanted , it will give you hope. Write down 5 things you always wanted to buy or places you wanted to visit and you can make it happen. Casinos are a big fat lie, they will not make you a millionaire. Keep yourself busy , find a hobby watch movies , travel etc. Out of sight and out of mind , and your sensation to go gamble will fade away, But you really have to want it be focus . There are two kinds of people in this world; Leaders and followers, be a leader show yourself you can do anything that you put your mind into, don’t be a follower and gamble your hard work money like everyone else. One more advice , don’t think about all the money you have lost, don’t chase your losses, just let it go, you will bounce back triple by saving it and not gambling. I personally at first had a rubber band with money and I said to myself I have money, I will always have money for my hard work. I recently started gambling. It all started from playing poker w friends, which eventually turned into online poker, which turned to other gambling games and what not. Today was the worst I have ever experienced. I was up at one point, I was at such a high number that all my other losses would have disappeared if I had pulled out. Long story short I lost it all and then put more in trying to chase what I had lost. For reference I’m only 20 years old and I have only lost around 600 bucks but still for a college student with no summer job, 600 bucks means the world. I had never felt such a deep hole in my stomach. The urge to keep going, the dream of doubling up, is indeed a lie. You never win. This video really helped me realize that and I hope that everyone else who watches this video and sees this message can understand what I’m saying.

One time I won $800 at the casino. I knew I should go home. However I told myself " hey let me play just $100 of this. Who knows, maybe I'll turn a good night into a great night. If I lose, who cares, I can then leave with a really good $700. However after losing the $100, now I say to myself " ehhh I couldddd try just $100 more. If I lose that I'll leave with that remaining $600. Still a heckuva day right? " Well next thing I know I'm down to $300 and my thought process changes to " omg I can't leave with a measley $300 when I had a really nice $800 three hours ago!!! I absolutely HAVE to get that $500 back!!! Then I'll be back to $800 and THIS TIME I'll leave ( supposedly ) " Down to $200, down to $100, down to $20. Need gas but say screw it, down to $0. Now I want to puke and/or kick myself in the nuts. Mentally exhausted, stressed out, sickening feeling as I have a walk of shame to my car 😢😭😡🤬🤮

That is how I felt exactly when I won a 2000 dollar lotto scratcher this year.. took 1300 of it with me to casino and blew 800 of it easily and fast to.. This December, I will be one year and a month as a former compulsive gambler. 15 years of that hell...but I never stopped wanting to quit. What worked for me, was an audiobook called, "Allan Carr's Easy Way to Stop Gambling". I listened to the book every day for a few months and went over it in its entirety about 5 times, repeating the chapters that hit me at the core. I listened on walks outside in nature, in the shower, on my breaks at work. Like this video says, REPETITION is powerful. I now take the money I used to blow on VLTs and take trips abroad whenever I can. Life starts now!

I had a horrific accident 3 years ago which should have killed me. I was in a rehabilitation facility for half a year and once I was out and began gambling again I told my Mother “hey since my accident I think I’m up like 60-100 bucks”. She told me “oh mate, you’re up a lot more than that! Think of the thousands you saved by not gambling for that short period of time.” This spoke volumes to me. Suicide rates are the highest amongst gambling addicts out of any other addiction because people chase their losses by doubling, tripling and multiplying their bets by countless amounts. When I was a child, my dad ( gambling addict ) took me and my brothers to casinos, bingo halls, etc. We had to stand outside of the rope, where the gambling machines were. At bingo, he even let me dob the cards as a 10 - 11 year old. It was a different time back then and I think he knew the owner. So they let me do that. Anyway, putting a naive, impressionable, easily manipulated child in that environment is hideous. Two of us three brothers became massive gambling addicts, as soon as we were of age. Not a coincidence obviously. I have a ton of debt right now and it makes me sick. Wish he had waited for mom to come home from work, then go gamble by himself. Leave us kids out of it. You need to get a grip. I have a close friend who lost over £200K over 25 years as a gambling addict. He had successfully kicked the habit and it’s been 8 months since he’s been clean. Seriously if my friend can do it then so can you. I have seen him go to the absolute depths of torment with all the losses he has accumulated over the years….but there is hope as long as you’re alive. Seriously….you got to overcome it and seriously want to quit. He’s now a gym goer and has started to save…of course the money he’s lost won’t be coming back…and he’s now aware of it. Hello I am writing this because I am dealing with the same habit and trying to get spared of this worst addiction of my life and the good part is every time I lose it make me one step forward to overcome of this habit and now o learned to limit my needs to make compromises in life and trying to earn through legit means . However I am thankful to god I never had huge account balance one of the reason might be I always thought of earning through betting which never made possible to accumulate money in my account and the good part is I never took loan for betting so I am also not in any debt, I can understand the feeling of losing money and one who lost huge amount or who are in huge debts the pain is hard to express. Betting is a fake illusion of fulfilling our needs resulting to loss of money, sickness, frustration, depression, sleepless nights , bad family relationships and waste of ones precious times. I dont know why but naturally I was always prone to gambling. When I gamble I have no control over it and I keep on making huge bets more then I can afford. Im only 23 and just started making money. Before 5 months I lost all my savings around. More then $20k. I also have debts. I stopped gambling and worked so hard and was coming to normal. But again after 5 months I had a relapse and within this 3 days including today I lost more then $4k That is a huge amount for me. I m so measarbale. Blaming myself. With guilt. I can't even think straight. I'm drunk as he'll trying to numb the tension.

Stay strong my friend, I lost 40k in the last 3 years betting on sports. I am 40, I have been clean for 2 months. I have always bounced back and you will too if you stay strong minded and you really want it. I decided to find my self a new hobby and I just decided to play video games on PS4 to compete and keep my mind off of gambling. it is never too late to stop gambling and start saving again. I feel your pain and sadness. It is not your fault , we are just victims of Societies greed of the casinos . I don’t understand how they are legal to ruin people’s life. They just want the easy money from us because they always win because gambling is a big fat lie. The greed and adrenaline is not worth being depressed after losing. Now I have to ask them again. While they are themselves not in a good place financially. Due to my mistakes they also have to suffer.😞. I haven't talked to them yet. Should I be honest with them?

@@harikumarlimbu2441 we are human my friend. We all make mistakes. First forgive yourself and then be honest to your family and tell them the truth and that it will not happen again. And tell them that you will work hard to replace double the amount. Family always forgives my friend. Being honest always pays off in the long run. You are not the only one with this addiction that we cannot see. millions of people are in the same position that we where in. tell your family when it is the right time for it but not too late when they have to find out for themselves . Empty your mind from gambling out of mind out of sight. The first week is the hardest after that it is open water. You can see daylight. God bless and everything is replaceable especially money, but time and family are priceless .

Who ever own this gambling business is very rich and live in a very nice house and own a lot of nice cars 🚗 . If you are bored don’t gamble go fishing or go to the beach , visiting friends, or go for a drive to see small town . Or go look at antique shops. Buy yourself a nice coffee or lunch you will feel better.

Yeah just need to find a new hobby to replace gambling.. been struggling with this curse for years now.. I was on a roll quitting then I got held captive for 3 weeks worse experience in my life then I went back to gambling right when I was finally released.. that was my way to cope with the pain was to do more harm to myself by gambling money away.. still gambling even after self banning myself from my only casino.. now I do strictly scratchers and that is costly at 20 bucks a scratcher..
