My goal is to let go of all resentment towards past enemies/setbacks, recover from my health crisis, and get back to my profession in physical therapy. To help my patients also reclaim their lives. Great lesson! I did learn to walk a new path and learn from my fuckups literally after my parents died. It's been rewarding to realize that life wasn't trying to kick my ass, it was trying to teach me how to fight and it succeeded! It's good to carry a heavy load.

I really think that Jordan Peterson ties himself in knots as he tries to work things out in his overactive mind. He makes up these hypothetical people and situations. I would prefer to follow the teachings of Epicurus who did know more than I do.

Or wisdom , wisdom from the Holy Bible helps a lot..for example at around 5:00 into the video when he starts expounding upon the nihilistic view that life has no meaning, I can glean many similar lessons that King Solomon taught in Ecclesiastes 1-12. King Solomon was renowned for his wisdom and also his lavish life , by the end of his life he had done “all there was to do , under the sun” and found that everything was meaningless and to put God first and live according to his commands to be righteous was the only purpose worthwhile because it was selfless and gave to others rather than being selfish and gratifying oneself with empty pleasures.
