I was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at age 3. I'm also blind in one eye and am now 28 years old. I understand the pain and adversity one goes through with a diagnosis like this but keep pushing. Being partially blind has stopped me from doing/achieving nothing. Use it as a motivator, you can achieve anything you set your mind to and WORK for.

You’re doing great. Keep pushing hard. Il may seems like nothing is happening but if you keep going long enough even without seeing the finishline for most of your journey, one day you cross it. Keep doing sport. Try to méditate, try to do small things, easy to do that you always say you would do. This way, you’re showing your brain that you’re progressing. And as always even if you dont see the result right away, keep pushing.

All I hear is my father's voice!!!, I miss him dearly - this is how they raised us. These "lectures" daily sounded like "grown up talk" - but they laid a foundation within me that is unfreaking breakable!!! Thank you and happy Fathers day to the world! Love and Light to us all!

Elyse Johnson I feel so proud of you and your father 💛❤️💛 I had a father that was the complete opposite. His was negative talk. But there’s an unexplainable spirit inside me I can’t begin to really explain. But what I can say is I love stories like yours because I heard them in different ways every step of the way and they pushed me. stories like this push me. I went from believing my father and being Homeless with no status to having a roof over my head, a degree, a masters and right now in a really exciting place in the career I ACTUALLY want to have. I’m still en route but stuff like this makes me cry because I can’t believe how far I’ve come. There is so much power in words and in encouragement. SO MUCH POWER. Your father is a HERO 💛❤️💛❤️ love and light to you!! I wish you every bit of success xxxx

Stumbled upon this video yesterday, and it's been on repeat for the last 24 hours. A MUST listen for every Dad out there 👍 "I don't care...you pick them up!" What a powerful message! Thank you, Walter Bond!

I cried while listening to this, the speech he gives is a reminder for you to remember your dad works hard to keep you going. He might make you feel bad sometimes, telling you "why didnt you do this correctly" bringing you down, but when he sees you down, he will hold you as if you are still small. Im 13 as of right now, im thankful to still have my father with me, he helps me with my dream to become a better soccer player, he screams at me when i make a mistake, i cry sometimes, it makes me feel like im not good enough, but i know he doesnt mean to sound mad, he just wants me to succed. I dont know what i would do without him.

My father taught me to never stop pushing. He's always loved me and has never told me to give up. The most common words he's told me in the time I've been breathing are, "If someone says to you that you're not strong enough and don't have the will to go on. You just say, 'Take a seat and watch. I'll show you I can.'" The only man in this world to ever inspire me to be a good and to be there for others. I'm proud to call him my dad.

Walter Bond is such an inspiration. His voice drives me, his emotional intelligence moves me and his words keep me charging, sweating, grinding towards my goals. I listen to him at work. Some of my colleagues laugh at me because that's their way of feeling better about themselves when they go home early and I'm working every overtime shift offered. They quit after 8hrs, I go for 12hrs and would do more if my workplace permitted. They don't understand me. They question why I work so hard, even suggesting I'm desperate for money. Money is the least of my worries. My focus is achieving the goals I've set. I want to get there quicker so I have to work harder. They don't share the same mentality. They don't understand the process of my hurt, pain, suffering to push myself everyday. I quietly laugh at them for being weak, for lack of character, for lack of courage. Only I can stop myself, but that's not an option so I continue to stay humble, grounded, put my head down and keep working. Thank you Coach Pain.

@tylermoreland95943 жыл бұрын
If you're fortunate to have a dad like this who is still alive, please let them know how much you love them. Let go of petty resentments you may hold against your parents. My dad was an amazing man who sadly passed away at far too young of an age. I can no longer go to him and hug him, tell him I love him, or thank him for all he's done for me. When your parents pass away, you'd give anything to have them back. Cherish them while you have them, because they aren't going to be around forever.

My dad is the greatest man I know. Bad childhood and he left home at 18. Went to college on his own dollar and worked as a welder and a ski lift operator in his time outside of class. Over the summers he fished in Alaska. He flunked out of college 3 times...never gave up. Now he’s a battalion fire chief with an impeccable reputation, a multi million dollar business owner and just sold his house he built for $1.7m. My dad came from nothing and it’s what motivates me every single day. I’m in the struggle right now but every time I remember he went through the same struggle when he was my age I get motivated. Keep going everyone. Rags to riches baby!
