And that my dad wouldn’t leave the house drunk. Few years pass, my father somewhat gets better with drinking and he and a friend open a business. I soon graduate high school and start working for my dad. ( yet still taking care of home sisters ext) I become stuck, my father still drinking and parting he begins to be give me more responsibility in taking care of the local business. Until this year in July. They sold the business. I’m now 24.I moved out. And have been unemployed since. For so long I’ve watched over my family and have made sure that everything was taken care of. Now that I’m trying to grow as an individual I feel like i don’t know how. I’m afraid. I never realized that I’ve never looked at what I want or what are the things I like. Kendra Bennett you have a very interesting perspective. I agree that there are plenty of people who seem to be lost and wandering though life aimlessly, but who are we to judge, really. Maybe it’s a matter of semantics, but a choice is choice and choosing not to eat a donut or gettin up at 4am everyday is self discipline. If you can weave together consecutive choices that comes from a place of self disciple, then success should be right around the corner. When you choose to do something you don’t really want to do, but believe that it will benefit you or someone else in the future, I believe that is self discipline.

Once I took control and realized that no one can fix it but myself I felt like a new man. Now I look back at it and am grateful to have gone through this pain because it made me value and love myself in a way that would have not been possible without going through that trauma! And that within itself, is a blessing.

I have spent years depressed, miserable, resenting & indulged in self pity. I watched this and it has changed my whole mindset & the way I think. 'YOUR life, YOUR heart, YOUR responsibility' That statement right there is what changed it for me. I've wasted so much time & energy blaming others for making me feel so hurt & sad & all it's done is allow those people to win! but not any longer. I HAVE started to lay those bricks one at a time. Ok, it's not been easy but I feel such determination to keep going FOR ME & say to all those people I've 'ALLOWED' to ruin my life 'UP YOURS, YOU WON'T BEAT ME'. 😝 Will, I truly want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, this video HAS changed my life xxx 😘

ACL Fest 2021, Weekend 2, was taking place about 10 miles from my home in SW Austin. Family came in to attend on Saturday. I worked that day then stayed up 'til 12:30AM Saturday night drafting my first Graduate School paper (Clinical Psychology--Applied Research). I then completed and edited it thru yesterday, Sunday, 'til ~7PM, submitting it 4 hours before its midnight deadline. I did all that without watching sporting events nor extensive KZbin clips nor movies/TV; I KNEW I had to get my paper completed. I instilled so much self-discipline that I ended up enjoying and even "over-worked" my mind in creating my 2-3 pg. assignment. This video helped me solidify WHY I did what I did...and the internal benefits I felt heading into Week 5 of my course. Self-discipline -> self-respect and self-love: it can do wonders, people. Cheers for a Monday.

Does anybody ever feel tired, tired of running through the same videos, practices, meditations, Exersizes. Wake up each day, it goes well until you forget the why of what your doing the next. Growing as a person doesn’t seem the end all be all. Work on your body, Mind, Soul. Point is I’ve been at this for awhile, I can only hope in my heart, that I love myself enough to wake up tomorrow early, and do what I set myself out to do. And maybe just maybe all find a purpose in in life other than into improve myself. You must love yourself first to truly love someone else .

No matter how much more time you decided to stop to take break but that doesn't mean you give up " you still have the wish that thing inside you, then start over no matter how many time, start again again and again until you take it! And I will try my best as well!

You don't need Will to change your life. Don't cry and continue doing drugs. Cry because you are scared to face your addiction and then overcome it. Ask yourself why you do drugs. I bet you started from emotional pain or just to have fun. You are not having fun anymore - it's time to stand up for yourself and take control. YOU are worth the time and effort it will take.

Personal takeaway: *Forego immediate pleasure for long time self respect *Self discipline is the centre of all material success *Have self love to discipline your behaviour *Forget about other people's opinion of you, what matters is what you think about you.. *Faults and responsibilities do not go together...
