Don't believe all this crap. That book is full with made up stories. He always claims how wasted he was and fucked up, shaking and stuff, but yet he wrote a diary. Think about it. I know a few people who worked for the Crüe from '86-'90. They told me that they were wild but not that wild. Nikki is a notorious liar. He wants to be known as a rock legend, like Keith Richards. But the reality is that he is more or less a pretty talentless poser and liar. 98% of his oh I was so crazy, wasted, nearly dead blah blah blah stories are completely made up. Ask anyone who was with them at the time. The whole Sunset Strip scene is laughing about him and his book.

@@justincase2271 Seems that all the people who claim that NS is a poser, know someone who knows someone one who knows the Crue, but there's never any real evidence nor names to refute Nikki's claims in the book. I find that there is far more corroborating evidence to support his claims. Nearly 30 people interviewed in his book.As well as many other names mentioned in his book, and in the Dirt as well. None have come out to refute Nikki's drug use....even the ones he trash talks within the pages. To boot, his born-again Christian ex-girlfriend doesn't dispute it. Think the Evangelist would lie for him? There are just far too many people in Nikki's drug years, whether in the book or not, who haven't come forward to call BS. The 2 or 3 known musicians, who call him out as a poser, either weren't around him during those years, or only offer lame "evidence" as why why they think NS is a poser. Phil Lewis says that heroin wasn't very available in LA during that time. So what?! Does that also mean that people ,such as Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin, Steven Adler, Robbin Crosby, Hillel Slovak, Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, Jeff LaBar, Dave Mustaine and Dave Ellefson are all liars too since they were heroin addicts living in LA during that time? Pictures, band interviews, and concert videos from 1987 are also pretty telling of Nikki's drug-addled state at that time. NS would have to have some pair of brass ones to put a "poser" book out there, and not expect a maelstrom of friends, family, colleagues, ex's and contemporaries to come forward to call BS, plus risk effing up the reputation of his band, who was still touring at that time, if he knew it wasn't true. The maelstrom never came. Just few sad celebs refuting and a bunch of no-names refuting (the ones who know someone, who knows someone, who knows the Crue) don't hold up to the multitude who either support, corroborate, or haven't come forward to dispute the book.

Traffic getting there was a nightmare that day. Accidents and cars broken down. The truck I was riding in broke down about 3 miles from arena exit. My buddy and I said, fuck it.. We walked and made in time for Jetboy, Billy from Jetboy wasn't there. We found out later he was in an accident on the way to the show. Crazy day. Killer show. We hitched hike back to San Jose. Was a fun day overall.

Tommy's drum solo would look so much cooler if he just played and didn't talk all the way through it.

I'm pretty sure this is the show that Nikki missed the plane coz he was so strung out and they were all pissed at him but he still made it. Might be wrong idk, they sound awesome tho!

Pity the beggining of the show is cut, the show is also cut in the middle of Wilside, then again after the drum solo and finally in the middle of "Jailhouse Rock"
