Beautiful spot to camp
@carmelot32421 сағат бұрын
if you ever go down south there is a forest called carabost and in the middle of no where there is what seems to be an old railway, it carves through hill and there seems to be a circular track that disappears in the forest.

Sounds pretty cool! There's plenty up here around Coffs I'm yet to find too. Some with big tunnels. Cheers mate 🍻

Looked like a nice ride👍. Went through the same Koppin Yarratt Rd recently, but I had to use some enduro skills to hop over that same log you's encountered haha, roads pretty old and sketchy heading into Lansdown.
@MidCoastAdventures2 күн бұрын
Good one Judah! Glad to hear you still out exploring mate 😎👍
@mattvanhilst73392 күн бұрын
@judahelliot4087 do you know whether you can get all the way down to Upper Lansdowne from Comboyne via Koppin Yarratt? Last time I was out there it was still very much closed due to the landslide.
@judahelliott40872 күн бұрын
@@mattvanhilst7339 yeh its technically still closed, its possible on a trail bike and with a bit of skill, but i wouldn't try it with a car or adventure bike (it's pretty much a single track now) . I ended up taking slaters road from Koppin Yarrat , witch sends you into the Lansdown national park, and that road isn't too bad.
@mattvanhilst73392 күн бұрын
@ Thanks mate. Reckon I could get my WR250R through there then. I took Slaters last time I was up there, always a great trail.
@judahelliott40872 күн бұрын
@ idk , i'm not too sure, but you can always give it a shot.

As a professional forester I’d thought Id point out that it’s called the Forestry industry and harvesting or logging is one facet of it. Road building and trail maintenance is another facet which enables access for forest users such as yourself

That old tram way is cool, heaps down here in the otways but rarely have rails left (have yet to see one, only heard about it) but only accessible via enduro bikes, I’m on the hunt for a tunnel at the moment but I’ve heard it’s collapsed, but I still want to check it out.

You're lucky your not doing it today Phil, it's 38c here at the moment on the South Coast. Has KZbin changed your video format mate?. I'm only getting av01 instead of your usual vp09?. It's a bit pixelated.

Hi Coobye. Mate, dunno about the resolution stuff. I rendered it in 4K so...not sure mate. Pretty warm up here today, but not 38! Catch ya 👍
