I bought this phone about 5 months ago. I'm very happy with it. I just keep the auto rotate turned off unless I want it for something. It's very fast, the camera takes beautiful pictures, but my favorite aspect are the stereo speakers. They sound fantastic. It will be hard to get another phone after this knowing the speakers probably will not be this good. So I'm sure I will have this phone for quite a while.

I don't really remember ever having any bad experiences with curved phones. As a life long android user i have had normal screens and curves screens throughout the years and i haven't really ran into constant accidental touches on curved displays. I personally love them because they add such a pleasing viewing experience and makes the phone look really good aesthetically.

Miaou Miaou sure. Here is the rant about my current phone... well, Motorola stopped pushing newer update the phone. I stuck with Android 8.0 (yeah, you heard me right). They promised that they will "release" Android 9 last year or so, but the promise never came. So, I think I might move to the newer phone, since it would be better than this. Also, I have some complaints about the bug. I used Incipio Mods (with Wireless Charging, of course). If the battery of the Mods drained, and the phone's battery is around 80%, when some sort of notifications come (usually with higher pitch sound), the phone shut itself down! That's ridiculous! My dream smartphone is the phone that has no curved screen and have wireless charging, headphone jack, good camera, and clean software. So, I just hope that Xperia 1 Mark II checks all the mark.

My experience has been very different. The fingerprint reader is far better than the Note 10 I replaced. I get no accidental touches on the waterfall edge. It has the least bloat ware of any phone I have owned. And, most importantly, after hammering the phone all day and night, I still have 30% battery left at 10:00 pm. I've owned almost every phone produced and I put this phone at or near the top.

10:20 I've had Samsung S7 Edge, Samsung Note 9, and have tested my father's Note 8... And I have NEVER had accidental palm recognition while using thin cases. While using the same phones case-less, I have only accidentally had touch recognition on the right edge, 1/100th of the times I've held them, and that only if the Edge Screen app has been activated.. I've never understood why so many people complain or comment about accidental palm recognition
