These do look cool, but they do the same goddamn thing as cheap normal casters - just at 40x the price. A rolls Royce can’t really be compromised too much without making it not a rolls Royce. But Apple could have made these only mildly fancy at $100 or something, and they still would have been the best goddamned computer wheels that exist, and everybody who had them would have been happy with it. I amssuming these wheels are 2 inches in diameter and the rims on an apple car are 18 inches and that the tires add another 3 inches plus the fact that it will presumably be 8 inches wide. If the Mac pro wheel is $700 for 4, this makes 1 wheel $175. $175 x 10.5 for the rims and tires it makes 1 inch wheel $1,837.5. Multiply that by the thickness by the wheels which is 8 inches and you get $14,700 for each wheel. For each wheel. That means a set of 4 will be $58,800. Combined with the brakes and rest of the suspension setup, the wheels, suspension and brakes alone could be well over $100,000. The rest of the car I shall leave it to your imagination.
