That's either very clever engineering to have the oil filter in the sump or the opposite. I'll let you decide and say what you think.🤔🤗

It's no big deal. Chance to clean the screen filter and the sump itself. Just take your time. Be methodical, and proud of a job well done. Indeed, right before saying "What a stupid idea" you point out how dirty the sump is. Well, not such a stupid idea then. These bikes run and run and run for a reason.

I've already bought 10w/60 fully synthetic. Won't matter if I use it in my 2000 EV, eh?
