I love mine. The trip round Scotland was a blast. The warranty issue is being fixed this week - so not too bad after all. I don't take Yammie Noob seriously. The windscreen is a doddle to operate. I wasn't remotely confused. Nothing to do with Piaggio electronics and everything to do with the nut behind the handlebars.

I love my Mandello S. Only had it a month but it's an awesome bike. In the big city, it seems cops follow me around, waiting on me to open the throttle and break the speed limit. I set it on cruise and they give up after a bit. I love how it slices through the air with cross winds blowing me around, not the bike. Semi buffeting is non-existent. I've added a few minor things with more to come later.

So have I have only had a test ride so far. Both solo and with my wife on the back too. She said it is really comfortable for her and she feels safe with the well-positioned grab rails. Yeah about that, on my V85, it took 2500 miles for the gear box to properly brake in, after that it was magic. So did the new tires fix the twitchy feel at the back? Typically that is a suspension issue. Other review criticized that the Ohlins semi active felt softer than base suspension and wasn’t worth in their opinion.

Since my track day got canceled for weather, I am still on the original OEM tires. I played more with the suspension and seem to have found a setting that works for me with the rear shock adjusted towards the softer side. The front has never been a problem so far.

I would agree, having the XSR 900 in my stable at the moment and knowing what a great bike it is. However, like I mentioned in my intro video for the channel of the XSR 900, these bikes are almost too perfect with no drama or emotions / character at all. That is where the Guzzi charm & character comes into play for me personal. As a daily, I take the Yamaha any day but for enjoying the ride to its fullest I have come to love my Guzzi and Scrambler with their own "attitudes & quirks". Btw, I did bench the GSX S1000 GT aginst the V100 and did not buy it for the very same reason. If I were to buy a jap touring bike, that would be my choice, albeit it is impressive how much tech yamaha put into the new 9 GT.
