Eric Walker + the back was the worst thing about the phone, it feels fragile and did scratch (I have a case so it isn't really an issue). I like the design of the new one but Im sticking with the previous one.

Damn I might be the only person on earth who likes this phone lol. I'm not trying to do amazing things with my phone. It let's me multitask, its quick, good display, battery life lasts quite a long time for me (2 ½ days for me), quick charging, modular, slim, good deal on version. I'm happy with it :)

That's something companies need to stop and that making there phones smaller if they can do it without any big compromises then it's fine but battery life is one of the biggest phones on a smart phone and to shed only 1mm and having to compromise 500mha isn't good.

I'm commenting this on the Z² Play and another thing is that it has USB C and it has 2 SIM slots and it has a small digital assistant (not Google Assistant) that comes with the phone as well as Google Assistant.

That battery is half of Moto z play lol, they literally removed the only thing that made this phone stand out, play 2 is a downgrade, I'm guessing they did this because the play overshadowed the main Moto z so they decided to chop it's legs.

I purchased this phone and I am loving it. I do heavy gaming (Vainglory) on my phone and I am getting 7 hours sot. My days start at 615am and last till 8-9pm with like 8% left. And this phone is pretty much 240$ after what Verizon is crediting you. C'mon guys 240$ for this phone, stop complaining that it's not worth the price.

I always looking for phones with pure android experience, with a much lower price than google pixel, so the motorola are best choice for me, but its camera has always been very bad since when I had my droid maxx, now the moto z2 play is the same bad, it does not matter because camera never been a strong point to motorola, but the battery autonomy was for the moto z play, and now lenovo killed, there is no more interesting thing in this model, mediocre hardware and high price .. I hope these guys of lenovo made somthing like htc, lower price and bring what interests consumers, big battery( no matter the depth, thinner or thicker), a better camera.

Snapdragon 626 instead of 625, Amoled 5.5" instead of 5.2" IPS, louder front speaker, better build quality, more standard RAM, and Mod capable. Plus the G5+ doesn't work well on Verizon (returned mine after calls were impossible to hear and turning HD Voice/VoLTE didn't work) also the camera on the Z2 is much better than the G5+. It's well worth $408 vs the $299 or even the $230 Amazon version. The Prime Exclusive has an ad on the lock screen but the fingerprint reader is so fast, and active display works so well, that it doesn't detract from the device. I would've kept the G5+ if I was on AT&t or T-Mobile but Verizon sucks so much that they rendered it pretty much useless.

Stevie P. Yep I purchased one in the pre sale. At first things seemed good. Phone stated Verizon and 4g lte but I couldn't get texts to work. I rebooted it then was stuck on 3g stating a carrier name of "30110" or something similar. I then accessed my VZW account and it had warning banner stating that my sim had been placed in a device that will not work correctly on their system. I have returned it for a full refund. Was very excited for the device, very surprised that they would build a phone that was not compatible with Verizon.

Guys don't trust these reviewers. They are biased. Companies pay them for good reviews. If a company doesn't pay them much, they write bad about the phone and show us that the phone is not good and give us bad reviews of the phone. OnePlus pays all reviewers good money and also spends the money on celebrities. This is the reason why all reviewers are saying good things about OnePlus.

AngryNerds100 I am using this device and 3000mAh is sufficient for 1.5 days. OnePlus 5 has better specs than this device. But those are just the spec sheet numbers. In real life 3000mAh with SD 626 is the best combination for better battery life, less heating and smooth performance. Now at the same price, even OnePlus doesn't have an SD Card slot, Modularity, Always ON display, Front firing flash, Slim design, Fingerprint sensor as nav bar, Flip to open camera, Shake to launch flash light, a good after sales service. Moreover OnePlus as a company is very young and also who would like to buy phone from a company who fakes benchmarks, calls jelly scrolling as normal, and charges double the price of phone for screen replacements.,😂

Oh I thought you were talking about him being biased towards Motorola. Anyhow, OnePlus is definitely better for the price. A lot of the features you mentioned the OnePlus not having stuff like that can be fixed with peripherals and 3rd party apps, such as lack of SD card support, modularity, and the always on display. Everything else you mentioned isn't a must need. The Moto mods are really glorified peripherals and sure some can be useful, and they were integrated well but most of them are pretty expensive when you can get something better for less. Instead of buying their mediocre zoom camera, buy an actual camera, and instead of buying their speaker attachment, buy an actual Bluetooth speaker that will work with nearly every device you own. And a lot of similar gestures are on the OnePlus 5 as well as it being a really slim device, and the experience is really customizable. If you're out for longer battery life, then the phone is beaten by the Moto Z Play original, the LG X power and the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom and if you want a phone with better specs and a decent battery life, the Hauwei Mate 9 also comes pretty close for not much more. Even then the battery life on the OnePlus 5 isn't that bad, especially with dash charging. I'm not dissing Motorola, they make some decent phones, especially their Moto G line, it's just that the Moto Z line isn't the most impressive.
