highly unlikely transalp will get cruise control unless significant rise in price. They will eat up Africa twin sales -that is the reason this bike has no cruise control since it would cost almost nothing to implement it.

Honda being very techy might come with a hybrid. If you look at the start-stop system of the SH125i scooter, both the starter motor and generator are basically combined in one fat permanent magnet style motor bolted onto the crankshaft. Exactly the type of motor and setup used in hybrids. It would be very simple to use this motor/generator, add a small HV battery and make a mild hybrid. So they might announce a mild hybrid based on the SH125i or even the NC750X. Both of which were updated last 4 years ago, and so are due a rework…

Big Japanese holes in the market: MT-04 (450cc twin), along with YZF-R4 variant, and T4 Tenere variant GSX-4S and GSX-4R (450 twin), and V-Strom 400/DE variants Rumored: Kawasaki Z1100, presumably using the engine from the updated Ninja 1100SX. What this means for the Z900, we're not sure.

As for ducati, "everyday adventure" was already used in the past for Multistrada V2. New one was spied with new engine recently, so the bet should rather go this way. There was also a leak of new Streetfighter V4 (with DSS and batwings) and some spy shots of Panigale V2/SS replacement (confused with V4S, but without winglets and with side-mounted shock) also sporting the same engine that Multistrada V2 did. Desert Sled (yes, I owned one and loved it :D) is unlikely to come back, as it was not just a cosmetic makeover like other scramblers, lots of changes and was made in Italy not Thailand, so from the business point of view makes little to no sense.

Also, ALL the other mc manufacturers (BMW, HONDA, DUCATI, etc.) keep updating there ADV bikes. I had a 2014 ST and the 2025 is exactly the same, So what's Yamaha's excuse.

Suzuki are teasing "new metal" will be revealed at EICMA but the phrasing makes me think it'll be an existing model variant as opposed to an actually new model. They've also now eventually put the TFT dash from the GSX8 range on the GSXS1000. Hardly revolutionary or ground breaking but it is a positive albeit long overdue update I guess. Disappointingly slim pickings with Suzuki as ever it seems.
