Or... you can ask me also because I have a 2018 white RT. 😁 I see it this way - If they think you're a cop and do these things, it keeps me safer and it keeps them safer. Just keep a safe separation distance from them and anticipate that they might slow down. But if they pull over to the right, well... that gives me a clear path of travel so 'Right' on or 'Ride' on - at the speed limit of course.

👍👍 Nice Review. Despite the irks and quirks that you noted, this bike is an excellent Sport / Tourer. If you feel froggy and want to ride MotoGP, just set your dynamic ride mode and twist the throttle. If you want to ride in sublime comfort, set your suspension, cruise control, windshield and music accompaniment accordingly and enjoy the miles as they go by. Caution - You will have to ante up with a lot of greenbacks for this privilege but if you do, you'll be rewarded with a lot of smiles in your road miles.

Quite a good review although I don't fully agree with the comparison between the R1200RT and the R1250RT. Would have been appropriate to go and find some bends to ride through to fully evaluate the bike in the twisties.

ok, you said they don't make the Trophy anymore so this is the bike to have. So which is better Trophy SE or R1250RT. I am a big used bike person, so should I save my money and buy the Triumph?

The trophy is and was rubbish. Rather look for the ST1050 much,much better bike.

Can someone explain why BMW did not go with a TFT display on this new bike like their GSA 1250?

Analogue has more class, and it's visible through polarized sunglasses, not the case with a TFT display.

@@Visionery1 You have it exactly right, my RT was an end of production run in April 2020 and I took delivery in June. I had to wait for some factory mod to get the seat height reduced by a extra 25mm (1 inch). When I looked at the RT I had only ridden a R9T so they let me ride a 2020 GS Rallye that had been lowered (also factory moded) I was back at the dealership in 10mins, i couldn't read the screen. I thought it was faulty but as you said it turned out the factory used Linear polarisation while sun glasses are usually circular polarised. THey still haven't got it fixed. My dealer and I even took photos using a pro camera (Nikon D300) and lo and behold the TFT disappears on the 2021 RT as soon as a polarised lens is used. But, the Navigator VI from the 2020 RT remained visible no matter how I turned my head or changed the sun direction.

HemiBoy 478 maybe a allrounder bike is something for you like a suzuki v-strom i’m 6,4 and I can fit perfectly on it plenty of leg room

Wish BMW would catch up on technology, 2014 -2020 same bike with 50cc more that's it! Still using bulbs instead of LED! Really nothing new! I own 2016 with 170k miles great bike converted all lighting to LED plus added Clearwater Erica lights.
