if suzuki would make 2strokes again they will sell very good they ride so good
@franciscolopez32297 ай бұрын
Damn right, bring back 2 strokes.
@maverick22427 ай бұрын
Unlikely Suzuki will, but with the new technology in Synthetic fuels and hydrogen hybrid technology, both MotoGP and F1 are testing 2 stroke engines at present with lower emissions than 4tstrokes, more power lighter weight and less carbon footprint, both are very serious about incorporating 2strokes potential as the new engine choice in the very near future which may revolutionize both sports and revise the snooze fest they have become! It will also bring back the talent and skill factor of the rider and driver over pure technology doing the work for them! It is also compatible with existing 2 stroke platforms, obviously MGP and F1 haven't had 2strokes for decades and they need to develop high stress engines to race at that level, but for us in MX we already have that! KTM clearly new new this, hence the TPI, TBI development and also other Euro brands have been developing this tech as well even though not in production, they are ready for it, this will kill EV and maybe the reason why they are keeping an EV class separate, I hope so as this could be the biggest step in Automotive history without destroying it! We might not get the same smells but we will get the real sound back, dam that's exciting for the future and decision and implementation is soon, maybe another reason Ducati is getting into MX they see ICE engines aren't dead like the dead poet society have been preaching to us! 2t for life baby fck yeah!🤟 THE TRUTH is OUT THERE!

I bought my first brand-new Suzuki in 2000. A RM 250. I built it for Glamis Dunes. I loved jumping on that bike. IDK if I got lucky engine-wise, but after some modifications I was beating every 2 strokes out there drag racing. CR500s, KX500s, and every brand 250 could not keep up with it drag racing. It was a beast. I regret selling that bike. When I sold it the engine was still sure strong. It was reliable. Even after hitting some of Glamis big booters, it has never failed me other than plastics getting ripped off from hard crashes.

@mrpotatoheadracing7 ай бұрын
So true!!! 😂 After all the negative press the bike has got, I really try to watch Kenny's bike in certain sections like whoops. And Kenny's bike almost 100% of the time blitzed whoops so much better than almost all the other brands. This speaks volumes for how good the chassis is. And when they let the magazines ride Kenny's bike, they had nothing but praise for it, and also commented about how stock the bike was. Even Kenny's triple clamps were stock.

Kenny and other AMA pro's have proven that Suzuki can be competitive... imagine if they make a few changes to modernize their bikes a little, how much more competitive they could be? For example, I've seen Kenny and other's stall their bikes in the middle of a race and struggle to get them restarted because they have a kick starter and not an electric start. Just that one change could make the difference of a podium position or losing more valuable points. I wish somebody would interview the president/ceo of Suzuki and get to the bottom of their thinking. For example, why have they neglected their motocross bikes for so many years? They also make street bikes. They also make automobiles, etc. I would think that they have enough resources to update their dirt bikes... but maybe not? If not, why? What are they doing wrong? What management, engineering, marketing (etc.) changes can they make? From my point of view, it seems like the other Japanese brands, and Austrian brands keep updating and innovating. If things keep going as they are, eventually Suzuki will be left behind like the dinosaurs. I don't want to see RM's go extinct.

All you have to do is read about Suzukis finances. They very nearly went under in 2009-2011 and chose a conservative method of recovery because they were out of cash and their company was particularly susceptible to recession in comparison to the other big 3. Minimizing innovation and factory retooling has saved Suzuki perhaps billions of dollars. Suzuki has only recently recovered from financial problems and Toyota is invested in them. They have done a lot of development in the street bike market the past 5 years and don't forget they won the 2020 MotoGP championship. I guarantee in the next couple years we will see an all-new RM line, especially if the racing associations would like to update their outdated highly restricted rules.
