I think HEP Suzuki along with Twisted Tea could get this bike to the front in the next couple of years!! A decent rider with a bike they've been developing could lead to the Yellow machine winning some moto's again!!

@@reese3407 long ago yes but in 2012 I think it was I could be wrong on that but they returned to private operations which is the nice way of saying Kawasaki said we’re done funding Suzuki, and what did Suzuki do after that? Fired there rnd team aside from a few guys Suzuki killed there own company and the new chassis sucks the prior gen was far better i could live with the chassis still better then Ktm but the stock engines are complete trash. That’s stock though I liked how the jgr set up was in terms of chassis until Suzuki cut there funding.

I started reading motocross magazines around 1976 when Super Hunky was the hilarious writer at Dirt Bike, and Suzuki was starting to become the dominant bike for the next 5 years or so. Suzuki was and is by far the smallest of the 4 Japanese brands. They have actually had a lot of success over the last 50 years, considering that fact. But some people don't take that in consideration. Exactly 20 years ago, MXA spent the whole year criticizing the 2001 RM250. It went far beyond just ranking it last in the shootouts. They mocked it and insulted anyone who would buy one all year. Late in the year they did a multi page spread giving it the 'award' of the by-far worst bike made. I have never seen that level of vitrol in any consumer-review mag of any kind. Suzuki pulled advertising for years, and many industry insiders, including spokesmen from other mags and other bike brands, said MXA was wrong to be so savage. They knew they were out of line, so later they tried to temper the burn by saying they just wanted to 'inspire' suzuki to try harder. I think they were trying to bury suzuki just to see if they could. How could Zuki ever improve if they have been tanked for spite? In that era mxa was incredibly arrogant, like they alone knew everything from track design to suspension settings. I was riding a trials bike at the time, but I still followed mx. I was so turned off by the attitude that I didn't touch a MXA for probably 10 years. The next time I did, the review attitude was far different, almost too far toward bland. I suspect they felt a lot more fallout from those arrogant years than they ever admitted.

I hope twisted tea Suzuki can sign 1 star rider in the 450 class, and the same in the 250 class.. I'll admit the team showed some life the last couple races.. But the last star rider was Ken Roczen, who opened a can of whoop ass on everyone, to winning the #1 plate.. Yet they let him go to Honda?? I miss the days of R.C#4, Ryan Dungey, Reed, Stewart, Westin Peck(sp) Time for Suzuki to get back to being the Best in MotoCross.. Get the Right people in the right place's. They need another Rodger Decoster, The Mechanics that kept Ricky Carmichael, and Dungey, at the top of their game... I'm not giving up on your Suzuki, and I hope you don't give up on Motocross/Supercross and is the Fans.....

Wot they need is money to which unfortunately Suzuki do not have hence no major updates to there bikes in the past 15 years ,, The car market for Suzuki is near dead,, no more Suzuki dealerships in the US , hopefully that will change so one day we will see Suzuki back on top

@@elasticsoldier0257 Suzuki has extreme amounts of money, they're one of the most profitable car companies in the world. They're not really interested in the US market as they're so popular everywhere else, it's not worth it to them.

@@elasticsoldier0257 Yup. Here in Australia Suzuki is nearly as popular as Toyota, same goes for the rest of the world. Suzuki as an overall company has a larger budget than Yamaha, KTM, Kawasaki etc. Their priorities are just different. Plus they're also still making good money from their dirt bikes, they may not be selling so many, but they're also putting very little money into making and developing them, so their profit is still pretty decent

That is a beautiful bike and I would kill a lot of Bothans for it! 🤣 It's interesting to see the difference between a "full factory bike" and this really nice "privateer" one... but it's obviously still competitive (the rider is more than 50% of the equation... Max is really good). I wish Suzuki corporation would put at least a "satellite" style effort the MX/SX/GP. Sooner or later they will fall too far behind in technology, perhaps? This bike just needs a few things to bring it up to the level that the other Japanese bikes... surely they can afford it??? PS: Suzuki has a really rich history in this sport, please don't let it die for good. I'm surprised that past greats, like Roger DeCoster, are not more vocal about this 😥 Thanks for the video 👍

The HEP Suzuki’s are supported by Suzuki so I wouldn’t say their a “privateer bike” more of a satellite team. Heard that HEP maybe will be getting factory support from Suzuki in 2022 which I really hope they do. Need Suzuki to stay in the sport

Max Anstie's wife really bashed this bike on Social Media. Sad thing. I am a positive person and always wish the best for people and speak great blessings into their life, so I hope that Team H.E.P Motorsports Suzuki will forgive the bashing that Max Anstie's wife gave this bike and their Team and brings him back for next season. Rides like this are few and far between and I hope that he isn't left out in Privateer Row Sprinter Vanning it because of his Spouse. Here is to growth, maturity and a learning curve to the Anstie household as a unit.
