I don’t think I’ve ever had a bolt come loose on my bike… torques the spokes maybe once or twice and haven’t touched them since and have maybe 30 hours of no adjustments needed on any of the bolts. Except the engine Mount bolts were slightly out of torque spec but not loose by any means.

Thanks for the review! I just picked up a 21! I have about 2 hours on it and I noticed that the engine valve train is a bit noisy. Is that something that is common on these 450’s? Thanks

Today's Kawasakis, Hondas, and Suzukis would have to be modified with a two-stroke engine and pipe. Even then, that can cost money. May have to find a perviously owned, and used one from the 90s cheap.

@@michaeld3230 awesome dude thanks. I’m gonna have to get one of those. I ride a lot of single track/ hard enduro on a 300xc tpi. Had my suspension revalved and shit for the discipline, and kept them air. With full wrap handguards it really makes it a tight squeeze to get my pump on.

Just curious, how come you guys always state the dry weight for the KTM's? I realize that the bike is still the lightest, but it doesn't weigh 223 lbs full of fluids. It's closer to 230 lbs...

i dont get it, how does steel braided brake lines improve braking? ive heard this a lot but no explanation why.
@TheKillgore5212 жыл бұрын
When conventional rubber brake lines get hot and you apply brake pressure the pressure from the brake fluid actually expands the brake lines a little bit. So you're losing a little pressure in the brake line where you would ideally want all the pressure on the back of the braking piston in the caliper. Steel braided lines tend to be a little more resistant against this expanding issue. So yes braided lines are a little better. Here in the EU we aren't even allowed to put them on our cars 🙈 don´t ask me why
