BMW M2 VRSF Catless Downpipe with M Performance Exhaust Sound Start Up, Revs & Flyby's!

Here is a quick sound comparison of my current setup on my 2017 OG M2. I’m running a BMW M Performance catback exhaust paired with a VRSF catless downpipe. Do you have a cat less mid pipe as well? Your channel is awesome. One of the reasons I just picked up my 2018 m2 Lci 6 spd manual. It was completely stock and fully loaded with the sunroof , m performance exhaust , and executive package. I don’t think my car has the valve controller though :(. I’m also thinking about getting the turner intake but with closed box. I had an x5M, 335iS (n54 with better components) and f30 340i xdrive. So I’m pretty familiar with bmw. I tested the m2c out and it was only 1k more but I preferred the n55b.

That's the issue with catless downpipes. They make the N55 engine sound like a trumpet. I went for catted downpipes for my m235i and OG M2 and I don't regret anything.

nice vids man ! i have exactly the same car with the mperf exhaust. I want to install a catless down but i have some hesitation. Do y ou know the sound with the down pipe is a lot lounder or there is just a little difference ?

It’s a lot louder but the sound is absolutely amazing. Fully worth it in my opinion. If you’re really hesitant then you could go with a high flow catted downpipe. Significantly quieter than catless

1. Get high flow downpipes with cat. 2. Disable cold start roar. 3. Install a valve controller from valvtronic or something to make it quiet when needed.

I have the OEM titanium version tips that come with the M Performance exhaust and the rattling seems to be a common thing with this particular system, but only during the cold start.
