That was really cool! I have been watching these closely latey, your academy videos, particularly braking points, that's where I lose out - braking too early or worse, too late. You reckon the RHD makes much difference? In '22 didn't seem to do anything (The Goggles, they do nothing!!!) but I haven't played with it manually in '23. I love Mugello, great track with those big flowing series of curves, but get one wrong you muff the next few, so speed in corners controlled by the braking, is key. Ran COTA today using your notes, started getting all Bronzes which mean I'd improved and there's more speed to come. I'll probably never be as fast as you, at my age (you damn kids! One day, you'll be as old as ME, and THEN... I'll show YOU up... wait a minute, I'll be dead. Okay... never mind.) Seriously, great series, keep it up there's not just gold here but pearls (of wisdom) because fast in the academy will translate to fast in the races.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the guides mate, I would use the RHD in those sections where you need a lot of power in such a short burst. But sometimes just being smooth on the throttle does the job. All preference. Haha I’m not a kid anymore either bud, 29 in August 😳

Hey mate, got my first ever gold thanks to your tutorial. Took ages but realized my EBS was on 5 costing me alot of speed mid corners, as soon as I dropped it to 4 , Golds started dropping out of the sky lol. Thanks !

Great video! I started watching your channel for the Ride 4 videos but I’m really considering getting MotoGP 23 after watching these for a while, What is RHD though? You have it bounded to X which is your tuck button on Ride, so I’m assuming it’s the same thing.

Thanks man, the Ride height device lowers the back end of the bike to keep it from wheelieing. It’s very helpful but the bike also is harder to manoeuvre

just how? i make the firs two sweeping corner fine then when i get to the chigain my bike just doesn't seem to turn in to them or over turns on the first corner then doesn't turn in to the scond on the last stretch

That brake point on the first corner must be getting on for 100 meters later compared to last years game. Do you think they made the braking too strong and then had to compensate by nerfing the bikes on corner exit to keep lap times more realistic? Makes you wonder how from one year to the next they interpret the physics so differently.

This was their vision this year because they wanted the brakes to feel stronger which they nailed to be honest. But I’m still braking quite early a lot of the times 😂😂 I think they will continue the physics trend that they have started this year, I at least hope they do 🔥

Just the right video i need right now. Been struggling at Mugello. This track requires you to angle the bike pretty much at every corner which I'm not used to. Great video

do u use semi auto gears on this game? i know you mentioned you use them in ride 4 i think it was. just wondering if u recommend them in motogp 23

No mate, I use manual gears for both MotoGP 23 and SBK 22 😁

Do you have a specific setup on your bike when you do time trials ? I'll often use the guided setup but sometimes I feel it doesn't really do anything.
