Hey buddy, i know you're doing moto3 setups at the moment, but i just got the '24 game and am really struggling with the cornering on the GP bikes. Basically, the bike is just crashing a lot when leaning heavily in certain corners. No throttle or brake applied, leaning over heavily and the bike just crashes in longer/sharper corners. What's bugging me is i never had this problem on the '21, '22 or '23 games. Has the physics changed for '24 where the game doesn't like you applying full lean for the GP bikes? Anything i can change to stop this happening?

I've literally only had one brief go on a full on Moto GP bike on 24. I generally don't post setups of the big bikes because I don't feel I'm good enough even on the older games. I can tell the difference with the physics on each game and each class with the E bikes on 24 being the worse. It takes me a while to re adapt to different classes and the games, I'm actually working on Moto 2 bikes in 24 as well Moto 3 in 23 at the minute, but I'll probably be months before I'll post any as I'll try all the bikes. If you let me know a specific track you want a setup for I can put one up from 21 for the Moto GP bikes as I have literally hot lapped every make of bike on there on every track. Otherwise I can recommend xkamiX 27's base setups that I've tried kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnaVgZuriKegZ7c On 24 I'm using semi auto transmission, joint brakes and ABS enabled. Joint brakes give roughly 30% rear brake when using the front and affect how much slipper clutch and engine brake you need. Gearing will also affect corner entry, generally the higher the smoother, everything affects everything else. If you are crashing a lot on the front with no brake or throttle it sounds like the front suspension is too hard. I'd start by dropping the front preload as that will sit a bit more weight on the front end without affecting the rear too much under acceleration. Adjusting settings by 1 can make a big difference. In the year and a half I've been playing these newer moto gp games (19 on) I've learned than pretty much anything can be dialed out. The other factor could be you, if the bike is running wide and strays towards the edge of the track it will have less grip as in real life so you will go down. You may just need to slow down a bit more into the corner and accelerate out more rather than trying to hold a high corner speed. Chasing ghosts doing hot laps or watching the top riders hot lap videos to get your lines more accurate will make a huge difference. The lines on the smaller bikes can sometimes be different to those on the faster ones. The E sport guys won't help you much because they don't want more competition, I have tried to pump them for information a few times, especially JackHammer but he won't bite. The other thing you could try if stuck is controller calibration, I've never touched it myself so have no idea but there are videos. I always use a stock Xbox controller.

@DigitalTarmac1 hey bud, thanks for the super detailed answer. I'll try out the suspension and joint brake options for sure. Also tried messing with calibration settings not managed to dial it out. It is worse when drifting off the racing line and leaning, but it also happens on the racing line sometimes, common factor is leaning heavily. But seems unpredictable, therefore frustrating. Perhaps milestone just increased the effect of the marbles in the '24 game, so it's easier to lose grip. Anyway thanks again bud for the response

@OllieP-z2k If you get really stuck let me know and I'll be happy to try a setup for a specific track and might suss out a base setup at the same time. As I said I've also got some decent ones I tried off 21 one or two of which had suspension and geometry from one of the top e sport riders. I think it worked a treat at Philip Island off the top of my head.
