I hate the electric bikes 2 stroke for life but to see Doug Henry be able to fly again is so freaking awesome it literally brought a tear to my eye. Imagine how amazing that felt for him and he's hammering them like back in the day so amazing he's the definition of inspiration
@billygildark45655 ай бұрын
Im no electric fan either but for a paralyzed rider it makes perfect sense. That’s the only reason it should be able to compete with ICE bikes. And Doug fucking rips it!!!!!!!

If you would actually try an electric bike you would know just how amazing they truly are. Instant torque, no mess, no smell, almost no maintenance, and you can ride them inside. Electric bikes really are the future.

What I see is a track without the free-style jumps...yay! Just how and why the sport turned into a combo of MX racing and free-style I don't know but IMO this is racing. Maybe the World VET MX could race on one day and have the pro's come the next day and watch the fun begin. I'll bet you would have one hell of a race and everyone there would be smiling for the whole race. Congrats Doug Henry!

Doug Henry is one of the toughest men (the other being Bob Sloan) to ever ride. Surviving the infamous stuck throttle crash at Budd's Creek(known as Henry Hill) to becoming paralyzed and not giving up riding...and now in 2024, still out there kicking ass....men like this are extremely few and far between nowadays. Ride on man🤘

I heard he also lost his house to a fire!!! why did this happen to such a great man when their are so many thugs that deserve such things??? I was a local expert in NESC and was in many races with him back in the late 80's early 90's time is evil I miss the good ol days doug you are a true hero to me.

I've commented on this before but I'll say again, outstanding bravery and confidence to back yourself knowing that if you fall in that 1st turn 20-30 riders will be bearing down on you like a ton of bricks and here you are unable to move away from the bike being strapped on scary, but I bet it never enters his mind. Anyone with any sort of disability should watch this,in fact rehab centers around the world should have a copy of this to show you can still do whatever you set your mind to. This word has been used repeatedly but it's perfectly true what an Inspiration.
